La Tourelle Hotel & Spa, Ithaca NY

We had a very nice stay. This place has lots of charm. Large room. Very quiet, even in the pet friendly section. This seems like a well run place and guest satisfaction is a priority.

Despite the lack of snow and mild temperatures in Feb, the grounds at La Tourelle were gorgeous! We stayed in the barn where the kids loved the extra space and restored details. We were looking forward to a snowscape since we came all the way from NYC, but the natural beauty of upstate NY made up for the lack of snow.

I'm giving it 5 stars because the time there was stellar! We were treated like royalty. Everyone was warm and friendly and accommodating. As a Black queer couple, we are never sure what reception we will get when we arrive someplace. Rooms were clean, and everything was neat, but we were surprised by the old nature of the building. I was impressed that it is a family owned business, and we met the owner while there. That is a charm I can't get with a Hilton, no matter how fancy or well appointed. I would definitely return. The Bistro, however, needs a quick lesson on offering items that are subpar. Our bowl of fruit was well beyond rancid, and all of us tasted exactly two fruit pieces to confirm what we were eating was not a bowl of fresh fruit.

As a Wedding Photographer, I've experienced many hotels and venues in our region, and I must say that La Tourelle is simply one of the best options, whether it's for an overnight stay, or your full wedding reception, you can't go wrong here. The vistas are fantastic, the rooms are spacious enough for a bridal suite to have plenty of room, and the kind staff are always so accommodating. If you are considering La Tourelle, for your Wedding or other big event, it is absolutely worth it.

Recommended by others, this place was great. A brief drive outside of "downtown" Ithaca, we hit up the spa prior to our check in. Our room wasn't quite ready, and we offered a glass of wine as we waited briefly.
The room was spacious and clean. The wood burning fireplace was great. We also did breakfast on location.
Highly recommend!

Tried to cancel our reservation due to Covid but apparently they do not care and decided to keep the money anyways. Guess they’d rather I come and contaminate the place. So disappointed in their handling of this.

Had a wonderful stay at LA Tourelle. The room was well appointed, large and immaculate. We had a nice balcony with a lovely view. The staff was very friendly and helpful The hotel is centrally located just a short drive from town, the colleges and several amazing state parks. We had spa treatments our final day and it was a great cap to a terrific stay. Would definitely stay again

I experienced my first ever massage here. It went very well, and I will definitely come back in the future! A friend came with me, and she's been to several message locations within the Ithaca area. She said this is the best location so far!

Cleanliness and home comfort of this hotel are excellent. Add an extremely friendly and helpful staff and a world class spa with great masseuses to the mix and you have my favorite hotel in the Fingers Lake region. The restaurant is solid but not exceptional. However, the hotel is within 10 minute driving distance from truly excellent restaurants in and around Ithaca commons.

My review is only based on the restaurant, not the Inn and spa. The atmosphere was nice and the service impeccable. The menu was somewhat aspiring for more than its implementation. Will need to try again.

This is the only place we'll stay while visiting our daughter. The rooms are always clean, the employees are always helpful, and the quality of everything else is consistently awesome!

King size bed was very comfortable.very quiet resort.and friendly staff.room seemed a little out dated. A/C was pretty loud and room could have used a TV mount that moved. TV was tucked in the corner.very odd spot.we did not eat at the restaurant but it seemed busy.overall it was OK.not sure if we would stay there again based on the price we paid.

I had my wedding at la tourelle yesterday. This wedding was for the most part, planned virtually from a 900 mile distance. We had hors d’oeuvres brought out throughout the event rather than a sit down meal and many guests had severe allergies and a multitude of dietary restricts. We also chose to forgo a DJ so the venue (specifically Scott) was responsible for the audio throughout the day. The staff at la Tourelle were incredibly accommodating all throughout the planning process, our stays at the hotel, and on the wedding day. Everything went so smoothly and I can’t thank the staff enough for all of their hard work and professionalism. Christina in particular made this wedding what it was and I sincerely hope that more event staff will join her soon because she truly works too hard. This was a great experience and I’m so glad that we chose la tourelle for such an important day.

We stayed for our mini honeymoon. I was completely surprised did not know a thing on where he was taking me. Glad to say that our experience was wonderful. Food, staff, spa, scenery, service and more was so perfect. Definitely we will be coming back for our 1 year annanniversary.

Great place! Friendly staff who go above and beyond (Kim & Meghan & Cameron). Room was clean an comfortable. Bistro meals were terrific! Carolina Tailwinds was given every courtesy.

Nicole was super helpful and nice! She really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. We will definitely be back!

Tranquil, quaint and relaxing. The perfect getaway with a service-oriented staff. Bistro is first-rate and offers a charming dining experience. Highly recommended!

Nice quiet little hotel. We stayed in Fireplace King Valley View room. It's a very small room which was deceiving from the photos. It's basically one room. The bathroom is nice with a jet tub. The balcony is tiny. We paid about 350 per night because it was a weekend holiday.

A most pleasant staff, great service, and beautiful rooms, buildings and grounds. Peaceful setting, away from the hectic downtown area. Enjoyed a free glass of wine during Happy Hour, and enjoyed petting a new 'dog friend', since the hotel is pet friendly. Relaxing and Enjoyable, looking forward to our next visit.

Relaxed and welcoming. Our room was large, clean, and had an outside porch. Complimentary coffee, cookies, and a hot cocoa bar! In the evening we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine in front of the fireplace. There is also a Bistro on site where we enjoyed a hearty breakfast. Great experience overall. Enjoyed the charm this hotel offered. Looking forward to our next visit. No big corporate hotels for us!
