Beware of this restaurant! Complete fraud. My husband and my two children (8Y-2Y) went. First, did you have to scan the menu? Not everyone knows how to do it) Second when they bring me the bill the gratitude of 20% was included! Because according to them we use a table of 4 people and that is equivalent to a party. I find it abusive and above all that they include it without prior notice.the service was not for a gratitude of 20% a total robbery! The service and the food leave a lot to be desired.

BE CAREFUL with TIPPING because they automatically put 20% on the bill. This is my third time here and today I just realized that they do this.

Honestly, the food tastes good, the place is nice, but the music was too high, and in terms of the quality of the steak, the cut is too small for the price they charge compared to other restaurants

Honestly food is okay can say is good but is a little bit too over price for the quality of steak used on mar y tierra at least if would be a better quality piece it would be good for the value but is a cheap cut of meat a little bit of rice for $34 other than that the place is ok

The best Colombian restaurant, I’ve been in NYC over 3 years and today I found the best Sopa, feels like home, a little pueblo in Colombia. The food is amazing! I’ll be back soon. Probably every weekend

Great food, highly recommend the Build Your Own Arepa. Only 4 stars because of the ambiance, music is way too loud that it’s hard to keep a conversation. If you’re into it, then 5 stars.

I really like going to La Vecina. The food is fresh, the service is great, and there is a chill vibe good for a meal with friends while also being comfortable enough for family time. I feel that while the portions are generous they are not outrageous as other latino restaurants. I really like the breaded chicken but I think instead of double carbs, they should include a vegetable or a salad. I also had the pernil once and it was amazing. Overall, this is a great place where the food makes me feel like I am having a home cooked meal, thus making La Vecina an appropriate name for the restaurant.

I’m not an arepa expert but literally BEST arepa I’ve had in my life. I got the arepa with sweet corn meal, plantains, chicharron and fried egg. Very good portion size shared it with my girlfriend

This place used to be good with decent prices and quality dishes but it went downhill fast. Each time I go prices keep going up and the quality of customer service goes down. The portions keep getting smaller so the $25 for the bandeja is not even worth it at all. I also have to repeatedly ask for things I need including the bill at the end when it's not even busy.

U had the drink it was delicious next week I'm going for shrimp rice.burger and fries and a few drinks.felt great when I was there exotic I want to post picture of my drink

La Vecina has always been my go-to place from the moment I came to NYC! Not only do they have food that is quite tasty, but also a place with high elements hard to find in any restaurant - Great music, amazing cocktails, and excellent staff! Highly recommended!

Rude waitress and they force 20% tip even though service is bad and I asked them to take it off. They only took off forced tip for a take out order which is ridiculous they tried to do that. Do not come here
