7It's a very nice and peaceful place to visit. I'll be going back even during the winter months.
I found this place by chance. I stopped at the hi-way information stand and it was a suggested stop. What made this stop extra nice was the fall foliage. Honestly this is not a must see spot but great if you want to stretch your legs, are either passing by or live in the area. It is only 5 minutes or so off of 87.
Beautiful area, very clean. The lake is looking rather marsh-y (or like a large pond). A few nice areas to sit and enjoy the view & some clearly marked trails for a short and flat hike
Nice walk. Partially gravel, and the rest was partially mowed grass. Trails were wide, but not marked, so it was not clear where alternative path went.
Great place to experience wildlife and get away from all the noise and into nature. Great fishing! Highly recommend!
Beautiful trails. Easy hiking trails along a small lake or through mature forests.
Very nice area except for kayak launch. My suggestion would be for DEC to construct a simple dock to make access so much easier.
