Lake George Escape Campground reviews
33Great place to stay. Kid's activities throughout the day and great staff that genuinely like to work with children. We are seasonal members and will be doing it again next year!
Okay place for families, but would not recommend for older adults who are looking for a place to relax. Driving around the park is challenging. There are so many unsupervised children on bikes, golf carts, foot it is almost impossible to get around. If there was an emergency and evacuation was needed, it would be disastrous.
We have thousand trails membership and have camped here all season. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Alot to do for the kids and its peaceful here. They could use another pool to accommodate more people. Campground is too big for just 1 pool.
Great family friendly campground. Providing pet friendly cabins equipped with all the essentials. Fun safe environment for kids to play and make new friends. Grounds are beautiful safe and clean. Highly recommend for you next family camping trip.
We stay every year. We love coming back and leave our vacation planning outlet next year. Staff is very helpful. Would recommend this as a great get away. Plenty to do and Duane is a great activity director.
Make your own adventure!
Great place to do as much or as little as you want to with your party. I was able to teach my 3 boys about the basics of camping (build a campfire, whittle some skewers, s’mores of course, and so much more). Next time, we will venture into the REC center, Game Center, and other amenities. Easy drive from Fort Drum, NY. Thanks for the fun trip!
Love this campground! We stayed here Labor Day weekend and had a blast. Very clean and well kept. My daughter loved the pool, mini golf and fishing. Highly recommend!
Staying at site 35, it is huge! Lots of space, quit but close to everything both in the campground and out. Cant wait to go tubing tomorrow and the free shuttle comes in handy to get to and from Lake George Village. So far all of the staff have been very friendly and helpful, the camp store is stocked and not over priced, and there are tons of activities for everyone to participate in!
Very clean and spacious dry tent sites. Tons of activities and food. Would highly recommend this place for camping.
Great place for Friends and family. There's a lot for kids to keep busy and family to do. And having my name at the pub is a plus
Family friendly campground. We have stayed during the spring fling & now we are staying for the fall fling! Lots of activities, outdoor pool, tennis, laser tag, etc.
Trailer just ok, facilities not so great, would have liked to be closer to lake george. Employees in golf carts were nice, and lady in recreation center and girl in food service but others not so much. Used several bathrooms, all were in bad shape. And they charge for so many extras. Their brochure about internet prices was wrong.
We've been coming here for 5 years with friends. Very nice. Everyone is friendly. Lots of things to do, many services.
