Huckleberry Mule & Pineapple Mojito both sweet & delicious! For an app we got the queso it was different and interesting with a little kick but definitely worth trying. For the meal we got the Chicken Tender Sandwich & BQQ veggie burger. Very good & flavorful but there are sooo many options on the menu we will have to try something new our next visit.

Nicely spaced tables, wonderful atmosphere, nonintrusive servers and wonderful food! Loveeee the Lakehouse chocolate cake dessert!

A gorgeous establishment, upscale, but not uptight. Relaxing waterfront dining and bar. The dining room is spaced nicely and the views were lovely from the outdoor seating area. Not only was the atmosphere enjoyable, the food was spectacular. I had seen it had many good reviews, now I know why. Everything was superb. The table had duck, pork, steak, chicken, gnocchi and risotto. I dabbled in a bit of a few dishes and they were each delicious. Dessert was no exception! Will definitely be back.

Service was horrendous! - waiter took 20 minutes to take our drink order, then another 15 for food, and then disappeared for the rest of the night.food just okay, not worth the high prices (there are too many other restaurants that have better service)

View was beautiful. Parking sucked. Prices were a little high for lunch. Place is very nice looking. Food was good not great. Biggest disappointment was lack of service and inquiry after you order.

Wanted to really like this place but left unsatisfied along with the rest of my large party. The decor and location are obviously a plus, but we felt it was overpriced for what was served especially with the portions being smaller than anticipated based on the price (we left hungry). They also charged over $22 to cut my friend's birthday cake.really? Valet also messed with all the presets saved in my car so that was a buzzkill.

Wow, it is truly sad to say that The Lakehouse's service is the worst service I have ever received in a restaurant (fast food establishments included)! I am shocked at how many other reviews state the lack of service and yet the situation has yet to change. Management really needs to step it up. I have never seen a manager visit the tables and see how things are going.this is something that is vital! Servers are all congregated in a section speaking to each other, rather than visiting tables and seeing if there is anything else they can get customers. It is almost like the servers do not care- they do not ask if you are doing okay, don't ask if you would like drinks or dessert- don't even wish you a good day (lack of hospitality). Avoid this place (better service can definitely be found elsewhere)!

A true Bay Shore gem. The location a view of the GSB. If you are there in the warmer season try and enjoy the outside dining area what a wonderful dining experience. The food is crafted by a masterful chef each dish seasoned and cooked to perfection. This place deserves ten stars. I could go on and on about how much I love each dish I've had here but I'd ruin the sunrise of such a high class restaurant on Long island.

The view, food, ambiance and service are top notch here. My wife and parents go here for brunch in the summers and we always have an amazing experience.

The waiter was being fancy and didn't write down our order. With that said, one of our appetizers was forgotten. Great atmosphere on the deck. Very good food.

I went there for my Birthday. Food was EXCELLENT and very nicely prepared! Many different waiters servicing us for different things. Highly recommend. Very nice place not only the food but the atmosphere

Fresh and tasty seafood place with nice decor and view over the water. Valet parking. Service was a tad on the slow side, but food was great. Expensive, but people know that they are not going to Joe's Crab Shack, so it shouldn't be a surprise.

Rock shrimp bucatini was delicious and the soufflé is probably the best I’ve ever had. We enjoyed a summer breeze and water views from the patio. The service was very attentive and polite. Parking can be challenging (it was not even that busy inside).

They were so kind. It was our 8th anniversary and we want to sit outside. All tables are reserved but they managed to make us a table. The food and desert were delicious.

The Best! While an evening of some of the most finely prepared food is why I would come to The Lakehouse, I will stop by, on occasion for a terrific burger and a beer lunch! (Maybe with some gelato for dessert too!) The staff- great, the views - lovely, a great overall time!

Great staff and amazing food. Constantly changing menu that is always interesting. A must for people into food

Went there last night the dining room was room was half empty was told that they weren't going to be taking anymore walk ins.
Ate across the street looked in the lake house on my way back to the car. It was still half empty. Still never ate there but I'm not dealing with that BS every again.

We were waiting for our ferry to Kismet from Bay Shore and took the opportunity to have lunch here. The atmosphere was great! Food and drinks were awesome!
