Lakeshore Lactation reviews
3Donna is amazing, such a warm energy she brings to the room. I felt so comfortable and happy with her. THE ONLY real Lactation Consultant that actually helped me and my baby!
I am a new mom and breast feeding/feeding in general has been more challenging than anticipated. Emotionally exhausted I got to the point where I needed to reach out for help, but was hesitant to contact a lactation consultant based on the many moms who have told me they can be rigid in their goals and values and can push breast feeding even when it is not what is best for baby and mom emotionally. I came across Donnas site and her reviews made me feel that she would be flexible and compassionate. The second I spoke with her on the phone I knew I had made the right choice.
I expressed my concerns and Donna was able to be at my home the very next day. From the moment she walked in she put myself and my family at ease.
Donna had answers to all of my questions and also provided a sense of relief by weighing the baby after feeding, providing support with pumping, having supplements on hand to increase milk supply and having a wealth of referrals in terms of doctors, specialist, and more.
On top of that, Donna expressed that she would also be available by phone or text when needed and she proved it by following up the very next day.
Donna is personable, extremely knowledgeable, thorough, understanding, and passionate about her job and the overall well being of mamas and their babies. My only regret is that I did not contact her sooner.
Donna is a life- and sanity-saver. She was so kind and patient. As a first time mom experiencing serious breastfeeding issues (crying in pain every time it was time to nurse) she immediately knew what the issue was and helped put together a lactation plan to make sure I could feed my baby the way I was determined to achieve. If I could leave her more stars, I would.
