6Got a birthday cake for my wife here and it was fresh and delicious. Def worth the price.
Their cakes are beautiful, delicious, and not overly sweet.i brought their medium sized strawberry shortcake to a party and everyone loved it - people went back for seconds.the staff were also helpful in suggesting the cake size and patient when i couldn’t decide between strawberry or blueberry.
Trying to find a specific green tea cake on Long Island can be hard. There are only a few shops that carry them. I found L'ami Bakery on map and decided to give it a try.
The shop is inside H-Mart, immediately to the right as you walk in. For those who want a cup of coffee and a slice of cake, there's a seating area. I picked up a Green Tea cake to take home, which came with candles and a knife.
From the outside, the cake looks gorgeous. Once you cut into the middle section, you will see layers of green tea cake and cream in between and a layer of strawberry. It's fluffy, the cream is light, and it's not too sweet.
If you are in the area and looking for a birthday cake, L'ami offers an affordable and great tasting birthday cake.

This small but incredible bakery is located inside H-Mart. The Cakes are soft, fluffy and delicious. They are fresh and not soooo sweet. Can’t even think what to choose. I decided not to bake cakes anymore……because I can buy cakes from L’AMI Best cakes that I tried so far.
Also I love their cake boxes. So fancy and cute.
It is a favorite place for birthdays and celebrations as it has a lot of pretty cakes. I often order iced Americano because I'm thirsty after grocery shopping, but today a nice lady took my order and asked if I could get iced Americano or hot. He asked back and we burst into laughter together. The staff are always friendly, but today was a fun afternoon thanks to a small human mistake. The pretzel donuts were also delicious. Fast service, delicious lattes in the winter, and you can also buy Korean-style bread.
