Lamia's Fish Market, New York NY

This place is beautiful! I visited for my friend's birthday dinner and it was amazing. I had the branzino with a side of mashed potato and it was delicious It was also very affordable. The drinks were also really good. The interior decor looks exactly like it does in the pictures. Go for it!

I recently dined at this restaurant, and the experience was fantastic. The food was incredibly delicious, the service was top-notch, and the drinks complemented the meal perfectly. I highly recommend it for a delightful dining experience.

An enormous, gorgeous environment for any occasion. Delicious food from land and sea and a fun environment for that attention-getting birthday song from the staff.

Bro if you're going to Lamia's DON'T. We had our reservations at 10 and we didn't get seated until 11. Then we ordered our food at 11: 05 and didn't get served our meal UNTIL 12! It was BADDDD. Don't do it to yourselves.

We went for my brothers birthday and the staff was great. My server was very nice. I had ordered a dish that I could not eat after realizing and the manager was very accommodating and allowed me to swap it out for something else. The food was fresh and tasted great! The Lobster pasta was a favorite at our table, and I loved the seafood carbonara! The fish tacos and Calamari are great starters! I definitely recommend coming to this restaurant. We went on a late Thursday night and the staff was amazing. There were some loud customers but it did not bother us too much. One waiter even showed us the best places to take pictures. We had a great time.

The decor was beautiful, played a lot of old school hip hop music, which is a plus during brunch, the waiter wasn't that great, we waited a half hour for our food and people who arrived after us got there food faster, the bottomless mimosa was disgusting, we waited so long for the replacement jug of sangria, the waiter was really bad, we came there with a 2 for 1 voucher from Fever app, he charged me the full price for two people, then after a while he remembered I had the voucher. I will never go back there. Its not worth the trip all the way from Harlem to Alphabet City in the LES.

When we walked in, we were seated immediately. I think because we came before the rush. I would suggest having a reservation. I wanted to order the chicken and waffles. However, after waiting about 20 minutes, I was told that they were out of chicken and waffles. This to me is an oversight on the business because it was still super early and to run out of that item before 3 o’clock as a little bit crazy. I really didn’t want anything else on the menu so I opted for the mac & cheese. The mac & cheese wasn’t good for me. It was cheesy on top, but lacked cheese inside of the main dish. My friend ordered the truffle flatbread. That was pretty good but could have been served a bit warmer.

If you’re going for the brunch, I would suggest ordering two drinks at a time because it takes a little bit for the waiters to circle back to us. Our server Helena was really good. She really did try to make our experience a little bit better.

Being that they didn’t have any chicken and waffles I asked if I could substitute the steak and eggs. The answer to that was no and I would have to pay an extra $20 if I wanted that entrée. I politely declined, however, had I been running that establishment and ran out of a dish I would’ve tried to make the customer happy by fulfilling that request but that’s just me.

Last, but not least on this particular day, they had a group of about 2 to 3 children running around inside of the establishment. At one point there was even a kid on a scooter scooting by the bar area. Very unprofessional in my opinion. This is not the place for children to be playing around when you have customers. The place is beautiful inside a lot of different decorations, which makes it unique, but it won’t be enough for me to want to make a repeat visit.

This Restaurant is one of the best out there. I went there for my birthday and my mom’s and let me tell you; everything was on point. Our server, Antonio (sorry if misspelled) was THE BEST, food was great and drinks excellent! I will certainly go back. The vibe is EVERYTHING! Check them out.

Came here for restaurant week dinner on Friday night. The ambience is just superb, decor is super beautiful, and everything is super clean. The staff, John and Sam, and our lady (forgot her name, sorry) are very friendly. We had few flaws though- it took quite long time for our food to be served, the waiter served our food to another table and filet mignon was well done instead of medium rare. But hey it's a seafood place, so it's a lesson for us- don't order meat in places like this. But one of the managers, John, went above and beyond to make sure we had very pleasant experience, they were very apologetic and offfered us something to compensate for all negative experiences. Seafood carbonara was just perfect, so delicious and quite a big portion, and fish popcorn was great as well, and clams. We' were not impressed with crab cakes though. But we definitely will come back here. Evening was very lovely and we definitely recommend this restaurant

This place gave the worst service of all time, our server kept yelling at a different server about his money, they tried over charging, brought our food out cold, and the waiter literally STOLE money from us. The service was so bad we didn’t tip, but the server still went ahead and tipped himself with our credit cards.

The staff were super friendly and the happy hour was a steal. The one star off was on the wine, of which I'm sure they can do an even better job on.

This is in my top five. Hugo! Great service. Anthony amazing and great energy, especially for the event. Good good, excellent service, great atmosphere. Great space for birthday, girls night out or date night. The fries good, salmon, fantastic, fish amazing. Great presentations.

They were preparing for #houseofbarbie pink ropes with over 300 guest, Expected. I feel it was and is all about the details and they exceeded expectations, like the perfect property is about location location listing, creating a vibe and atmosphere is about detail details details and providing great service and they provided.

Anthony, his friends call him “Tony”, is one of the best server in the city and the bartender and Hugo, even the host, they were all in and you gotta love it! Plenty of space rooms to reserve and a staff that’s attentive goes, the extra mile is a must.

This definitely is a Wok to Restaurant. It’s New York however, we drove and we were able to find a spot because people are always coming and going.

Absolutely love this restaurant! From the food to the drinks to the atmosphere! I feel like I am dining under the sea! The truffle flatbread and the salmon is delicious! I also think their mock-tails are delightful! The last time I came to celebrate my birthday and the owners and staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel special! You guys rock!

Highly recommend this place for celebrations and dates. Celebrated a friends birthday a few week ago. We tried a couple things from the menu, everything was exquisite. The staff is super welcoming and the cocktails are amazing. Already planning on coming back for brunch, heard they have unlimited mimosas!

Lamia’s Fish Market; is a traditional seafood restaurant serving up a limited menu of items including land items such as meat.

Appetizer: the ceviche was bland, lacked life, flavor and texture. Small serving wasn’t great at all. Would not recommend.

Dinner: two fishes with butter, lemon and capers. The fish was decent and made up for the awful appetizer. The orders do not come with sides so we ordered, spinach, french fries and mash potatoes. The mash potatoes were a bit cold and lumpy for my taste. The French fries were pretty good.

Drinks: the cocktails were decent and tasty.

Decor: beautiful tapestry on the ceiling and walls. Detailed lamp fixtures with decorated ceilings and walls. Tasteful and nicely designed.

The server isn’t as attentive so we didn’t get a refill on water and had to wave her down several times to get our check.

Overall the place is a vibe but the staff seem unfriendly and inattentive. The food needs improvement especially for the price range they are asking. Nonetheless it was a decent dining experience.

Nice seafood spot in east village. The food portions were good and cocktails were nice. I liked the decor of the resto.
