Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars reviews
15We stopped in early and there was only one other couple there. A gentleman named Ford, like the car not the Chevy, helped us and he was great. He provided us with the information we needed for the wines we went on to purchase. The atmosphere was relaxed with the reservation system versus first come, first serve. It was our second time visiting this winery and there will be a third.
The Blanc de Blanc (bubbly) was spectacular! Ford, our server was awesome.great sense of humor!
Loved our wine tasting experience. Reservations required for tastings but nice that you get your own table for the tasting. Dog friendly indoors and outdoors. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always enjoy the Chardonnay’s and Riesling’s here. Definitely recommend visiting.
BEST winery that we visited while in NY! Beautiful view and truly amazing wines. I wanted to buy a case of each one I tasted. Don't be afraid to reach outside your comfort zone here. This winery made me rethink what my favorite wine is. The cheese plate is also very good and the service is excellent. I think we had 4 different people come by our table during the tasting and all were delightful.
The wine was quite exceptional, but I can't get over how poor the in person experience was. The person attending our table was condescending, was constantly recommending the cheapest wine, and didn't guide us through our tasting at all. I guess being a younger table he didn't care to give us much attention but in comparison to other vineyards in the region it was definitely a low point.
They terminate disabled employees once they’ve met their usefulness, and ultimately do not have any interest in accommodating disabled people.
My family and I have been coming to Lamoreaux Landing for several years now. We bring friends often as we don't live far (southeast PA). Lamoreaux has always given us a wonderful experience. The wines are really delicious and there are so many to choose from. I enjoy dry reds and my family enjoy the white wines. They have three ice wines which are amazing treats as well! The Cuvee Club is really fun. I love the surprise wines I get in the mail 4 times a year! What a great surprise when you arrive home from work to find these waiting for you! We love coming to Lamoreaux Landing!
The wine was wonderful and the views were breathtaking. But our whole experience was soured by our server. He spent zero time with us, and instead chose to spend all of his time with the other group in the room with us. He was extremely rude, curt, and inhospitable. We spent three days in the region and this was our worst experience. I don’t remember his name, but if you were to visit and get served by an older Caucasian gentleman with shoulder length greying hair, ask for a different server.
As case club members we have always enjoyed visiting. Today we got there and were told at 4: 08 we could no longer have a tasting. Are you kidding? ! Do you want business? We are going to wineries that welcome us.
I’ve been to this winery twice, and it is definitely one of my favorites at the Finger Lakes. Both times I was there, our server (Tyler?) was very friendly and informative.
We visited this winery 2003 and now I am buying wine by the case. The Chardonnay reserve 2019 is our choice. Please note our reason for coming to this winery in 2005 2006 2009 2010 2015 2019 was for the wine and the views. We live in PA wish this wine was in the state stores yet the website is easy to order and the trip to the Finger Lakes is memorable.
My group (Hot Yoga in Rochester) and I tasted wonderful wines coupled with a presentation by our attendants that was very interesting and informative.
Very nice winery. The service was outstanding. The place was very clean. Wines are great. I highly recommend this place. Make sure you have a reservation.
Really high quality wines. Compared to another good winery in Seneca lakes (not to be named), it was clearly better. Had a fantastic 2012 chardonnay, quite a few rieslings that were excellent. Enjoyed the whites more than the reds, but reds were good as well.
Beautiful and sophisticated winery with a good selection of fine wines. Our tasting was hosted by a friendly and knowledgable young gentleman that clearly has a passion for wine. Try the ice wine - I've never been a fan, but they changed my mind - complex, rich and sweet, without being cloying.
