The store has a great selection of trims, yarns and fabrics of all kinds.
Staff is very polite and professional, they also helped me with my stroller as a came in with my two year old daughter. They also gave me a good discount as I was buying a lot of fabrics. I love sewing, it’s my passion, I have purchased hundreds of yards of fabrics throughout my sewing journey and being appreciated as a client plays a big role in choosing a favorite place to shop at. I am posting pictures of the fabrics I purchased today under this review.
Neon - cotton spandex with sequins, white cotton spandex, black polyester spandex, black and pink mesh with glitter and golden polyester fabric.
They also have very nice African Print cotton fabrics, which I am planning to get for my next project.

Thank you! I will be back!

I have mixed feelings about this store. I love their wide variety of yarn and accessories for knitting and crocheting. However, they don't accept creditbor debit cards. They also don't allow returns or exchange, so I have to know ahead of time how many skeins I will need because I can't return spare skeins. Their prices are slightly higher than Michael's or Joanne mega stores.

Went in 10 mins before closing time (closing early for NYE) knew what I was looking for, but didn't quite know what I was doing (trying my hand at knitting). Found a few rolls of what I think are "chunky yarn" and went to pay. The cashier (didn't get his name ‍️) was sol helpful he saw my sad attempt at the knit stitch and proceeded to show me not only how to cast on, but both knit & purl stitch.

Store was closed, colleague was waiting outside, and he was still giving me tips. I was sooo grateful. Took a business card & told him I will definitely be back, and he offered to assist me further if needed.

Great service like that definitely turns the casual shopper into a loyal customer. Will get a better look at their inventory next visit & will have hopefully mastered the knit stitch!

I went to the store for the first time yesterday and was impressed - found what I needed and more. Compared to the other fabric stores I have been to in Brooklyn, I would say that they carry more of a variety than the others. No more going to Manhattan for me now that I found this store. It looks small when you just enter but don’t let that fool you because there is a lot that you can find in there.

Small but mighty, Lana's Fabrics is one of the only yarn, craft, and fabric stores in my neighborhood. They are being extremely careful with coronavirus precautions. Note that they only accept cash at this time.

Had a great experience the first time I went to this place. I went again Sunday and it wasn’t so great. When I asked about a particular product I was told whatever is there and there will be a delivery in the coming days. (Instead of coming to show me or look with me) I had items I clearly got from then I wanted to change the color of the yarn and was told no. They also accept cash only.

Good store for yarn and accessories. But no credit and debit cards accepted. And no return/exchanges for yarn
