Lancaster Country Club

Before signing my agreement 3 years ago, they made it seem as if joining this club was like finding an oasis. In reality, the entire duration of my 3 years as a member was like being lost in the desert, chasing a mirage, and only ever finding more and more sand. I only write this to warn anyone looking to join a country club in hopes that I can sway them to join a different one. I am not a bitter person but after dealing with the ever accumulating issues from the poor financial management of the club, to the club house, and of the entire membership, I find myself completely and utterly dissatisfied with almost every aspect of LCC. The assessments and monthly dues have become excessive and no longer represent the quality of what you will receive in return. I have had several other members reach out to me unprompted to express their shared discontent and frustration with LCC and their board and some are considering lawsuits. I have chosen against this path, just so I can move past this and leave the terrible mistake of joining this club behind me.

My experience working with LCC has been as positive as it could be considering the circumstances. Unfortunately I did have to cancel my wedding at their facility due to the extensive water damage they had. But with that said they offered me all of my money back right away and even offered me help with finding a new venue. I was working with Cristina and she was so honest, kind and professional every time I spoke with her. I am heartbroken that I don't get to have my wedding here. But I will absolutely be using their beautiful venue when it's completed for my next event.

Nice course, terrible management. Club is financially under water. Pool requires significant repair. Never ending assessments to cover their losses. Recent storm has rendered the clubhouse unusable indefinitely. No direction from leadership. Board of Directors threaten to sue members who leave. Close to 30% of the entire membership has resigned in the last 6 weeks.

Under major construction and new management. Management doesn't know how to talk to people. Very cold shoulders and not pleasant to talk to.
