Absolute game changer for women’s health! Had the pleasure of meeting and receiving treatment from Anita Amidon who began my appointment about asking for my medical journey up to the time I was sitting in her office. The difference? She listened, asked questions while WRITING down recommendations, (most that were outside resources to look into based on my areas of concern) that she provided at the end of the visit. During the appointment, she ensured my comfort level with all aspects of the care she was providing including the information and procedure I was receiving, as well as my physical and emotional well being. She included in the appointment, that was not rushed to get to the next appointment, the next steps and expectations in my wellness journey. She had taken the time to explain things that I had not been able to obtain in a traditional setting. Understanding what is happening is the first aspect of healing and Amidon’s approach ensures you are informed and armed with the knowledge of her assessment.
