I am a procrastinator at everything. I have worn contacts for 30 years and never had a problem. But when I received some extra cash I went ahead and got Lasik done for my nearsightedness. I should have never had waited so long. It is awesome! I have perfect vision now and can also see up close pretty well, better than I expected, although I know it will change in the future because of my age. So much freedom now! I did the one day evaluation and surgery because I travelled quite a distance to have it done. They even put me up in a Ramada hotel for the night so they could check my eyes the very next morning. Everything was very well explained. The surgery went well, I had alil discomfort initially with the eye holders but I settled down and they began. It was over in seconds literally. I got up and although it was fuzzy for a couple minutes I could tell everything was sharper beyond the fuzziness. By the time I was walking to the hotel shuttle I could see perfectly and no pain at this point. There was no pain til I got back to hotel and had finished my dinner. So probably an hour later my eyes started burning and tearing uncontrollably. They were healing already. It lasted 2 hours then everything was back to normal. I just started using the antibiotic and anesthetic drops as directed and the artificial tear drops as needed. My eyes were bloodshot immediately after the surgery but have since cleared up in 4 days. I have less halos then when I used contacts and my vision is continuing to improve. If something should not work out I can go back and have corrections made when needed with the lifetime guarantee. I don't anticipate any problems though. Thank you Dr. Fleishman, Dr. Chiang, Jim Raza, Amy, Christina and all who made this worthwhile!

I recently had surgery at LasikPlus. I am 40, and and before surgery I had read that Lasik could affect your close vision. During my consultation I asked several times if this surgery could damage my close vision. I always received he same response, that "after 40 everyone eventually needs reading glasses. " So I asked more directly if this surgery could damage my close vision and was told that it could not. While I do enjoy better far vision, the next day when I woke up my close vision was so damaged that I couldn't read at all. It's been about 2 months since the surgery now, and it has improved since surgery, but I still have a difficult time with my near vision and it was definitely damaged by the surgery. I should have been told that this could happen. If I had known that instead of wearing contacts every day I'd have to wear reading glasses I wouldn't have gone through with the surgery.

I had a great experience both my pre-consultation, my surgery, and post-op consultation with the both friendly and very professional staff. Not only did they answer all my questions but they also were happy to show me some pro-tips like putting my eye drops in the fridge. Overall the surgery took 15 minutes if not fewer. Surgery requires a two-step process from one machine to the second machine. Immediately after getting my eyes lasered I was able to see much further than ever previously before without my glasses. As my eyes continue to heal my vision continues to improve so it's not a instant process but a gradual healing process. Less than 24 hours after my surgery I had 20/40 vision which is excellent compared to where I was. I would highly recommend this service and the amazing staff here plus they give me a free t-shirt but I was in a review this regardless.

I'm not someone who typically posts negative reviews but my experience at the Albany LasikPlus was the single worst medical experience I've ever had. I had Lasik done in October of 2020, I have no complaints about my vision. It's still not perfect at night but is otherwise about the same as it was with contacts. After my consultation I made a decision on which surgery I would get and what type of warranty. On the morning of my surgery the doctor coerced and scared me into paying $1,800 more than what I expected to pay. When I asked specific questions about why I needed the upgrade I was talked down to and patronized by the doctor. I felt that the staff took advantage of me just before surgery in order to upsell me. The whole process was rushed, I was given very little information, I was terrified the whole time and the only person who showed any real care was the receptionist. The whole thing was incredibly painful and traumatic. Really look into and research their sales tactics before you schedule a surgery here. Following my surgery I did some digging and found that staff is offered bonuses to sell more surgeries. Should doctors really be able to make money off upselling medical procedures to nervous patients 15 minutes before they're performed? They were pushing people through like cattle and the doctor (not the surgeon who was fine) was more like a used car salesman. I filed an official complaint with company headquarters and asked to be refunded the difference to pay what I was originally quoted. They ignored me for weeks and finally denied me. Learn from my mistake and do some thorough research before getting this procedure. I now have a warranty I will never use because I'm terrified to ever go back to that office. I would steer as clear as you can of LasikPlus.

Booked an appointment, showed up, been over the maximum appointment time frame of three hours and I have yet to even be seen by dr or even had the courtesy of an update by the staff. Needless to say, will never recommend this location or company. Very disappointed as I booked them based off a referral on how good the service was. Apparently a year makes all the difference.
*after the surgery has been great. If the team had merely set clear expectations and didn’t keep me sitting in a room, during a pandemic with people who may or may not have Covid (or interactions with people who have Covid) definitely would have been a better review score.

Staff is incredibly helpful and very professional. Everyone is dedicated to customer service, it was easy to get an appointment and get my lasik done quickly. They have decent financing options as well as discounts. Definitely would recommend this office to a friend!

I had my procedure done a little more than a month ago and everything went really well. From beginning to end it was a great experience. Everyone was very nice and very informative. I had Lasik done the whole procedure lasted about 10 mins. My eyes burned and teared. I went home and slept for about two hours and when i woke up i was able to see everything really clear. I am very happy with my results.

The procedure was quick, easy and painless. Everyone made me feel so comfortable and assured me it would be okay. I can see 20/20 and it was well worth it. I would recommend to anyone who uses glasses or contacts to get this procedure done!

Don't delay, call today. The younger you do it the more you'll get out of it. I was functioning at 95% the next day and seeing at 20/20 when I left. These guys see a lot of patients, but take the time to address each of your concerns and questions individually. I can't recommend Lakik Plus enough.

Just had my Lasik procedure yesterday. Not gonna lie, the first 4-5 hours were painful. Couldn't wait to fall asleep. I just kept taking the drops and eventually I was able to watch some TV. I was very fortunate to have a very caring boyfriend to put the drops in for me. I could not have done it alone. This morning I felt 100% better. I can watch TV with the glasses off and can put my own drops in. I highly recommend it.

My wife finally talked me into getting a free consultation with lasikplus. The doctors and staff could not have been nicer. On the day of surgery Dr. Fleishman explained everything that would happen. The surgery itself was very fast and there was no pain. I cannot believe how I can see now. It really is a whole new life! I highly recommend lasikplus. Get your free consultation.
