Laundry Haven, Queens NY

Don't wash your clothes at laundry haven. My white and color clothes was wash together. My white towels and undershirts are ruined. Won't be taking my clothes there again.

They laundry service is a joke, my white clothes came back soooo dingy like they washed all the clothes together. I will never have them wash my clothes again. Horrible service

$1.25 per lb for wash dry and fold. The most expensive laundromat I've seen in 3 years. But for same-day they charge $2.50 per lb. Insane.

Love going to Laundry Haven. The washers and dryers are always in working order. The machine prices are lower than the others I’ve been to. The place is very clean. The parking lot is very well lit, and the elderly woman that is there in the evenings (might be Ecuadorian) is just wonderful and helpful. Love the music mix, and the TV’s are on. I live across the street from a very large laundromat, but I prefer going to Laundry Haven.

BEWARE! The dryers will RUIN your clothes! How can people leave 5-star reviews for a place where it’s almost impossible to find a dryer that does not have sharp points inside that rub against the fabric and slowly destroy the fibers! Place the palm of your hand inside and feel the drum. If it feels like you might cut yourself… imagine what that’s doing to your clothes! Outside there is a sign advertising an auto body shop. If they can take a dent out of a car, get them to take the dents out of your dryer drums!

Note to Owner: ". Haven't been able to locate ANY damaged dryers"? !? Sorry, but that's laughable! Rub the palm of your hand around inside ANY of them! There are ONLY 2 or 3 with relatively new drums. ALL the rest have these divets/bumps, WILL NOT feel good the skin of your hand (and thus WILL DO DAMAGE to fabric) and NEED TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED! These examples are from #82 and #62.

I used this place to dry clean my suits. On one occasion one of my suits did not appear and after almost a month when I complained to the manager, she was very dismissive and rude, to the point that she told me that if I didn't like it, I should go somewhere else. That 's what I did.
Also, although the owner was aware of the claim, they did not want to compensate me with money back, but with a card to use in the laundry.but how to return when they did not value you as a customer for more than two years?
I must say that the other service staff have been friendly and the place is clean, although a bit expensive.

My clothes were stolen right out of the dryer while I was sitting outside. I'd rather wear dirty clothes than ever go there to wash and dry them ever again. THIS PLACE SUCKS! Better off going to Crossbay Laundrymat!

One the biggest and most modern laundromat s in this area. 2 dollars for the card Reload and use.

I moved to the area recently and this place is large, clean, and plenty of machines. Rosemary is great at customer service. Provided complimentary laundry items. Really generous on her part and highly appreciated. Overall this is the best place around here. I've tried them all.

Laundry Haven was such a find when it opened. The prices were great for all that they had, including wifi, TVs, lots of seating.

After a while they raised their prices which is not unexpected, all businesses have to do that sometimes to catch up and survive, to keep up with rents, etc.

They use a card system, not quarters, and you had to pay cash to charge the card in the machine.

Then they changed card systems and I found that my old card which had a few dollars on it would not work and you had to buy a new card on the new system. So I was upset that I lost a small bit of money. I got over that eventually.

Then they changed the system again to now include a credit/debit option to charge your card. I was happy to see that. Until I realized after the transaction that they noted an extra 99¢ fee was added to use the credit/debit card to charge the laundry card. They did not tell me that before they did it.

So little by little, they keep doing things that make this place less and less attractive as a laundry spot.

Excellent.

Definitely worth it.

I scheduled an online pick up. Day of pick up came and went and my laundry was never picked up. I called and tried to speak to someone but they were unable to communicate or explain what had happened. I rescheduled a pick up (thinking it was just a fluke) and they failed to show a 2nd time. I submitted an inquiry online and never received a response or a phone call. Terrible customer service, not dependable, totally unorganized and not a company to use. If I could give ZERO stars I would.

I took my suit for Dry cleaning a few days ago, when I picked up my suit I noticed there was something odd, I took it and went home I checked it and realized that the bag was a regular clear plastic bag, not one that regular cleaners use and when I checked my suit it looks like it was done by hand, my suit was ruined. Will never take my clothe back to that place.

The area is always clean no matter the time of day I come in to do laundry. Love the machine card refill! No more having to put money in the machines like the other laundromats have. Snacks are good, healthy drinks are in the machine too! The washing machine works great and the dryers are even better, very hot! I have never had a problem with any machine since the “New Management “ took over! Fantastic!
