Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre reviews
7Small off Broadway theatre on 46th St.and 6th Ave. Seats close to stage. Been there more than 30 times over the years. If you have little leg room speak to the house manager and they will try and usually succeed in getting a better seat.
Not a bad seat in the house! Mask-wearing is still required as of Nov 2022, but the theater will provide one for you if you forget to bring one.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the show I saw here, but the space is excellent. You aren’t crammed in like in most off-Broadway theaters, the views are great, and it’s very easy to get in or out. What a great space!
Love the theatre. Not so much for the current show, "You Will Get Sick".
Just viewed the play YOU WILL GET SICK. Permit me to state that prior to arriving at the theater ; I was a bit tired. The production is 80/85 minutes w/no intermission. The plot is linear and e-z to follow. The evergreen actress Linda Lavin proves why she has been canonized n2 Broadway's PANTHEON of great performers. The play ebbs and flows. I'm not ranting or raving.but I can suggest that you check this out. I would have recast the Asian actor, he came across a tad bit amateurish. The many moments of hilarity helped to balance ️ the weighted topic.
Part of the roundabout family of theaters, a great venue for NY theater. Please subscribe!
The theater is in a great location and the seats were comfortable with an easy view. I assume when there are no COVID restrictions there is a bar, not sure.
