This is the best place in New York. If you are lucky enough to meet Joh or Mike then you really hit the jackpot. Get the steak frites and enjoy your stay in heaven

Outstanding food, fun atmosphere. Started with the escargot which became the dipping sauce for the rest of the 10 different bread types that followed. The Baked Brie was amazing, followed by the Steak Tartare entree and onion soup bites which were all delicious.

With incredible service, a captivating vibe, and servers who go above and beyond, it is an absolute pleasure to dine here. Whether you're seeking an intimate dinner for two or a gathering with friends this restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations. I highly recommend paying a visit to experience the magic for yourself. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

I had a really amazing experience at Le Baratin! This was such a fun and lively place to enjoy a meal and have a drink at. Not only is it a fun place with good music and dancing, but the food and drinks are great. The place is a bit small and you will be close to people, but that is to be expected if you go anywhere with music and dancing. My favorite part was when they flicker the lights to the beat of the music and everyone starts dancing. I definitely recommend this place for an upbeat and fun type of night!

The vibe was cool and the food was decent. There was one waiter, Omar who was incredibly rude. He told us we had to put our food order in at the beginning of the meal and yelled at us when we tried to make an additional side order. Later he scolded us for not buying more drinks. It really killed our vibe, otherwise was a fun place. It attracts a younger crowd though

Very nice casual French restaurant. Lovely place and delicious food! I recommend the duck breast (Magret de canard) - it was so tender!

The food was really good! I felt the vibe was authentic French but not a big elegant restaurant. More like a genuine French hole in the wall where expat’s probably go for a real French meal. I thought the food was great. It’s a bit small and can get noisy but I suppose that is part of the charm

Terrible. We have spent a bill of over $800 and we have been treated terribly. The food is not good and the waitress is insulting the clients. We will never come back again.

Worst experience ever. As a french living in New York for many years, the quality of the food is terrible, the tartare taste like a industrial mayonnaise and the price of each plate are insanely expensive for a horrible service.

Do not come. We came for a $700 bill, and we experienced the worst food and service ever. They don’t know how to cook a medium rare steak and the tartare taste like an industrial mayonnaise. Finally the waitress is terribly unprofessional; insulting their clients. Please, educate yourself before opening a business.

Enjoyed the vibe and service a lot. It delivers unpretentious french food and experience. Wine list is pricey but the rest is very well conceived and executed.

Very busy small french restaurant, decent quality and the not soo friendly service will definitely remind you of France:)

I went there with my husband. We were planing just to have some drinks but then end up getting a salad, it was very delicious, but when my husband asked where is the restroom the waitress told us there is none which is a pure lie. I’ve never been to a bar/restaurant in NY that has no restroom. It’s not like we walked in just to pee.

Last night I had the best meal at this restaurant. The place was packed. The service was impeccable, and my fish dish, which was a special, was over the top, delicious.
