Le Charme Nail Spa, Brooklyn NY

I have been going to this nail salon for years. I think they are now under a new ownership and mostly all the stuff has changed and they are not well trained. The only good one that is left from the old stuff is Amy who is amazing. She does a perfect job and very fast. Unfortunately, she doesn’t work on my days off. So, a few times i had my nails done by other technicians who are not trained properly and on top of this they dont know how to treat an unhappy customer. Plus, they use used and unclean tools which is disgusting. I think most of the customers go there for the good name this place had. But, i think they are loosing these customers everyday and im one of them.

I've been going to Le Charme for years and had mostly positive experiences, so I thought long and hard before writing this review. I went in for a regular manicure and pedicure.

The pedicure went great and was quite relaxing. Then when we transitioned to the manicure tables, the only station available was cluttered with food and other people's bags. The technician didn't soak my nails to loosen the cuticles, instead she pulled out one of the nail dremels (usually used for acrylics) and used it on my natural nails. After she was done my cuticles were bloody and my nails had deep scratches and grooves into them. I was in shock and went to wash my hands and tried to decide what to do. The manager came to check on me because she could see that I was upset and settled me down, I stayed for the rest of the manicure. But now hands of hurt this entire week, randomly bleed and my ring finger is starting to get infected.

The staff there is really nice, but I need to share this story because clearly they are not properly training their technicians. I also didn't see them using disinfected tools. I think the tools she used on me were used on other clients, which probably explains the infection. I will be finding a new go-to nail salon.

Came here because my regular nail tech was booked- $60 uv gel set plus $30 for design (hand drawn stars).
Not hygienic- they used a used file, cuticle nippers and drill bits without cleaning them first but it’s a regular nail shop so I didn’t expect much.
Service was mediocre, it seems they are extra nice to their regulars and just okay to others. I wasn’t offered water or snacks like other reviews and some other people who came in after me but there was a sign saying you could ask for them for free.
I had an appointment and still had to wait 15mins after I got there to be seated. They don’t do acrylics and they used the curved tips on me which I hate. From other reviews it looks like they are good with short and medium nails but I got long nails and the shape is a little off.

Amy takes very good care of me. SNS manicure. Wonderful pedicure. And she is so sweet and kind and speaks English well

Staff very friendly, establishment is clean and services rendered were performed to my liking. I usually go to Amy and she does an amazing job. ~Nessa~

Love this place, have been coming here for a few years now and never leave disappointed. They do a great job on nails, and never leave you waiting. Highly recommend

I’ve been getting my nails done by Ann for years. She’s meticulous, friendly, and her manicures easily last me over a month! Can’t recommend her enough.

I love this nail place, it’s clean and modern. Amy is always down to do whatever design I show her. Other nail techs are good too. They are up to date on various nail techniques.

This is my favorite nail salon. It’s clean and prices are great. Staff is friendly and my mani pedis always come out nice.

Amy over here is amazing! She is very professional and always does a great job with my nails. I have never had my sns powder last 4 weeks! With her it lasts 4 weeks easy.

I have been doing my nails here for at least 2 years, they know their regulars and make them feel like home! They have so many colors for SNS, & it last all month! Their pedicures are great. They just get it bro. This has been my place, make it yours!

I have been going here for years - witnessed change of ownership. Even with the change of ownership, my nails are always done to the way I want it and everyone there provided great service. If there is something I don’t like, they will always fix it to my liking. Great place!
