Le Fanfare reviews
17They were extremely accommodating of my large party. I had my graduation dinner here and it was beautiful!
Love everything about Le Fanfare - the food, ambiance, drinks, service. We Feel very lucky to have this spot as a reliable go to for a special dinner in our neighborhood.
We had our wedding dinner here. Le Fanfare did a fantasic job, everything was exceptional - Planning the event was very simple. The food and service was everything we could have hoped for with a relaxed but refined vibe. The space is thoughtfully designed and great for events. Highly recommended!
This cute restaurant serves up acceptable Italian fare, in a trendy space, with a friendly staff.
Had a lovely evening with my wife, we celebrated our anniversary here and we enjoyed it.we will definitely try it again
Save your money.food was mediocre and portions were tiny. Not small, tiny.
Appetizers - Burrata was size of a gold ball with a few cracker crisps and some veggies slices to accompany. Meatballs were terrible. Ping pong size and Mushy with brown sauce that tasted like it came out of a can! Mussels were ok, but again the sauce was tasteless.
Main courses - chicken was not even a 1/4 of a bird. 3 other dishes were all pasta and really small potion.
Only upside was the drinks, otherwise it would be 1 star
Le Fanfare was fantastic. They were extremely accommodating to my food allergies and even with my food modifications my meal was so delicious I really wanted seconds. The team went above and beyond with the entire experience, and I cannot wait to visit again.
I ordered the shishito peppers for appetizers and spaghetti carbonara for my main dish. I would highly recommend both!
Thank you Le Fanfare for making my dining experience positively memoriable.
Beautiful, good food, reasonable prices, nice staff, dog and child friendly. Thank you Le Fanfare, you are doing a great job.
Le Fanfare is a cozily quaint and delicious spot. Dimly lit and quieter atmosphere, make it an ideal place for a date or catch up with a dear friend! I’ve loved everything I’ve eaten there, especially their homemade al dente pasta and short rib entre. I was delighted by their light and airy cod fish cakes (special). Also, love the cocktails, especially the shishito Carlito! Their plant-filled patio is lovely on a cool night. Definitely worth a visit if you want to enjoy outstanding Italian food in an equally enjoyable atmosphere.
Amazing dining experience. From the food to service - top notch. Can always rely on Fanfare for a great meal for any occasion.
My go-to place for dinner in Greenpoint. Consistently great food, drinks and service. The staff is super welcoming and will make sure you have a great experience. Truly a neighborhood gem I couldn’t live without.
Small pasta portions and amateur service.
The food is good but the portions are a joke. We’ll not be coming back. ️
As an italian i can say that the food is incredible good. Sardinian style. Cocktails are great. But most important the service is sublime. Best management for a local restaurant that i have experienced in Brooklyn
I don’t usually review restaurant experience though I felt this was necessary. The food was bland, stale and just inedible. The waitress was fine, she was as helpful as she could be, the place looked nice, but the food was horrible. The bun on my rib burger was stale and soggy, terrible combo. It fell apart when you picked it up. The potatoes were like a leather boot, 3 days old and the steak and eggs was about 5 bites done. The burrata was the only somewhat respectable dish and still was bland and nothing special with soggy old tomatoes underneath. We returned one of the potatoes for a salad and was probably the best thing we ate.
I understand we’re coming out of a pandemic but this type of markup and quality care is unacceptable. I’ve eaten at some very good Italian restaurants over my time, even bad ones, but nothing was quite like this one.
I feel like my $100 bill was marked up 500%. Because there’s no way that cost anymore than $15 to produce.
1st and last.
We used to come here last year and the food was always great but today it was all overcooked and disappointing. Ordered 2 gin mule cocktails that tasted like medicine and 2 steak and eggs. The steak was tiny and chewy, eggs over cooked and the 5 potatoes were old and soggy. Not sure what has happened to this place!
Service was excellent. We had two dishes that were inedible. We were served cold food which the cook had definitely not tasted (lol). I guess we all have bad nights, just sucks it was on my 30th. We went down the street to eat after spending over 200 for dinner … I’ll be back to try again Bc the atmosphere and service were wonderful. Hopefully just a bad night.
