Le Pain Quotidien reviews
17I came here with my husband and child. We were just randomly looking for a breakfast spot close to our hotel. Saw this spot and decided to come here. The people here are nice, the cappuccino was good. & the food/breakfast we got was soooo good! Definitely recommend for anyone wanting something good and not overally full to eat! Will come back here again next time I'm in the City
Pleasant space to grab a quick coffee and sweet treat. Brownies have a delightful thick crusty top and a rich creamy chocolate flavor.
Fantastic place, excellent options all dayand super amazing staff. We were served by Sarah everyday, she was most attentive and prompt everytime, witha smile. Definitely a gem find on our NY trip
Good variety of food. We got the breakfast sandwich without the jam, and it was dry and the bread they used was too sweet. Understandably it wouldn’t have been as dry with the jam, but it would have become way too sweet for a breakfast sandwich. Also ordered bacon on top for the togo order, which we didn’t get. So check your order before you leave!
Wonderful place to have brunch at. The tomato sauce used on their breakfast sandwich is immaculate, has that home-y flavor to it. I highly recommend this place
This places get busy but we lucked out and arrived I guess at just the right time to get a booth. The staff was attentive & helpful. The latte & entrees were delicious.
Pastries were ok, nothing special. Food wasn’t great. Service was one of the worst!
Will not recommend this place to anyone.
Great food and coffee-hard working staff. But, every single LPQ I've been to (before and after pandemic) was understaffed.
My go to neighborhood sit down breakfast place, especially after Kayser closed. It is a chain, but I still enjoyed the food, and it’s still really good quality with a causal and airy atmosphere.
The food was pretty good. The coffe (latte) is just huge in size.
The service is a bit slow
I walked in this morning to get food and beverage takeout for a meeting. Three sandwiches took them 20 mins to prepare. I know because I had to stand there the entire time:) they finally gave me two of the three but the last one was also taking ages. When I asked if they could rush the sandwich the waiter simply told me they can’t. I am willing to look over the fact that the waiter isn’t super nice, because sure it is a large order and all. Thing is, I appreciate the establishment taking care in preparation, but 20 mins for 3 sandwiches is just off…
We had a great experience here, food was really good, and the vegan options were great too, would definitely recommend. Our waitress Zannat was especially wonderful being extremely accommodating and kind.
Very much enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. We were staying at a nearby hotel and the breakfasts are MUCH better here.
It was our first time here, food presentation was good, although the place was pretty much empty we had to wait a long time for it to come out. And it’s so sad to say this because I also work as a server but our waitress was awful (I don’t recall her name I know she was Indian), she was really antipathetic and didn’t notify nor mentioned about any up charges or price difference. I ordered a chocolate croissant and she brought a different one, unfortunately I didn’t notice until I started eating it so I told her and she just said “we’re out” with a straight face. Ma’am, it would’ve been nice of you to let me know you were out of the item I wanted and ask me if I wanted something different or nothing at all, plus it was a cheaper item and if I hadn't looked at the receipt, she would have charged me the price of the item I originally ordered which was more expensive. But what really upset me it’s the fact that we left the restaurant with a receipt paid of a certain amount including the tip and now I noticed on my bank account that they charged a different total. I don’t know what happened, I tried to call the restaurant to ask about this issue but no one answered! Overall, not happy with this experience: (
One of the best places for breakfast in New York city. We had the avocado toast with salmon and eggs and the sunny side breakfast bowl. Both were so good and delicious. This place has also organic eggs and the portions are quite big and filling. We had also the french cream donut and it was nice. The coffee and tea were served with big pots which is one of the special things about this place. The only downside is that it’s pricy and the staff were pushing us to leave 18% tips or more.
Awesome place to have lunch and also breakfast.
The people is very kind and the quality of the bread couldn’t be better.
