Leilu, Huntington NY

The worst food and drink I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. I never send food back…but at Leilu, the food was so inedible that I sent it back and asked for the check. A 4.6 rating is not representative of the food or service I experienced. I’ve had better food in Penn Station. There are so many other, better places in the village. Go to any of them. I’d never recommend Leilu to anyone I care about. Full stop.

I've had the pleasure of eating at this fine establishment many times and felt that I needed to post about the unbelievable taste and unique flavor that this restaurant has brought upon the town of Huntington. Leilu is one of my favorite places to be, any time of day whether it be enjoying a quick snack, of indulging on savory meal. Thier staff is always on point and the bartenders are engaging and inviting. It's a must see dinning experience in the heart of the town.

Quiet night but Kip was great. Cocktails, Cesar Salad, wi e, main dishes were all amazing.

Did not meet expectations at all- Came here for a friend’s birthday and the place seemed hyped up to serve gluten free vegetarian dishes and according to their social media and online presence seemed more “hip” than what it was in actuality.

The atmosphere was a bit odd- the best part honestly was the soundtrack - the waitress was good and accommodating but it was not super professional. Service was super slow- and it was not busy at all. All of the plates looked better than tasted. My Caesar salad was supposed to be this hyped up one of kale and polenta croutons and beautiful Caesar dressing - how do you mess up a Caesar salad? Well they did. It was the most disappointing salad I’ve ever had. No kale at all, barely any dressing, two sad deviled eggs - the best part was the ahi tuna. The salt n pepper shakers were laughable - diner style and tiny. Everyone else’s meals were cold and we were not pleased at all. My husband had the ahi tuna tostada appetizer which was apparently the best thing anyone ate that night.

Definitely not fancy and for a restaurant in the heart of Huntington, you expect more. Doubt this place will be here a year from now.

Everything was pretty bland though the ahi tuna tostada was the only thing to rave about food wise. The server was wonderful, place was very clean, and the atmosphere was inviting!

Our waitress, Sam, I believe, was wonderful. We were very disappointed with the food since it had a 4.6 rating.
First, my husband had the meatballs and I the salad. One meatball was ok, the other was overcooked and dry to eat. My salad had absolutely no taste. I asked for salt and pepper, but it didn't really help.
Next, I had the pork chop. The presentation was beautiful. Again, it is overcooked and difficult to eat. My husband had the pasta, just boring.
The cheesecake was good.

My favorite restaurant in huntington and that is a big statement! Everytime we come here the atmosphere is so welcoming and the food is UNBELIEVABLE! As a vegetarian there are so many options for me and my boyfriend as a meat eater absolutely loves this place too.they are so accommodating and generous with their customers.i love coming here for a casual night or date night!

Hosted our daughter’s baby shower at Leilu yesterday. The food and service were impeccable. James, the owner, and our server, Andrea, couldn’t have been more accommodating. There was something on the menu for all tastes. Positive feedback from many who attended. It is a lovely spot to host an event of up to 40 people. All had a great time!

The staff were very nice and the food was pretty good.the atmosphere was very casual. I had the salmon dish and they substituted veggies for me with no problem.i would recommend this place for couples and families alike. Not fancy but very good! I nenjoyed my food.

Food was great. John was very attentive and made great suggestions. Definitely going back.

Celebrated my sisters baby shower @ Leilu and cannot be happier about it. The place was decorated so elegantly, tables set up nicely for us and the personnel were super accommodating at every step of the way. Kip was our host/waiter the day of and was so attentive! The food was amazing (we did the brunch style menu, please try the French toast). This was my first time at Leilu and I will definitely be back as a customer!

Went out for an early Fathers Day meal and had such a nice time! We went because the menu looked so appetizing and the food lived up to it. We will definitely be back!

Took a chance on Leilu for Mother’s Day prefix and we were so pleasantly surprised! The food and service were great and the artwork is amazing!

I cannot express how wonderful this restaurant is my family recently hosted a baby shower for my cousin and all staff members were absolutely amazing. The owners answered all of our questions despite changing the date and emailing texting back-and-forth asking a ton of questions and never got frustrated or annoyed with us. The food is absolutely amazing the raviolis are the best I’ve ever had all staff was so kind and accommodating we had an absolutely wonderful shower the food was out of this world and we will definitely keep coming back. I highly recommend this for a party or for any meal great restaurant great people

Had a fantastic dinner with my girlfriend at Leilu. We went on Tuesday and ordered from the "Taco Tuesday" menu. The food and drinks were excellent and the owner and staff were extremely warm and accommodating. The Sriracha Margarita is a must for anyone who likes a spicy margarita! Will be back soon.

Was very pleased with our meals and the restaurant itself was clean, very cool decor and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Burgers were delicious! Will be back for sure:)
