Lenox Hill Radiology East 77th Street reviews
20 Waited over an hour for x-rays for which they said no appt needed and I could walk-in.
Saw people who came after me get admitted first for x-rays and asked if they had accidentally skipped me, they insisted I was in the proper place in the queue but I just don’t believe that
Everything thing went smoothly. It helped to move the visit along by filling out a document online. Waited about one minute for the scan after a quick visit to copay. Thank you. It was a really nice and seamless visit. Every staff member was nice and polite.
LHR texted me no less than 5 times with a very specific schedule for my appointment: 9: 30 check in, 9: 45 scan, 10: 15 consult (or something to that effect) I scheduled my day accordingly, and the only thing that went as scheduled was me showing up at 9: 30. I wasn’t even seen until 10: 30, for a mammogram my doctor didn’t even order, but that the facility said I had to get in order to have done what my doctor originally asked. Finally got the ultrasound I was there for at 11: 15…. An hour and a half later. Totally frustrating, putting me in a tough spot at work. I love in America how we need to have a job to hold insurance, but any time we need medical attention the facilities have no regard for our time, like we’re French and can take a whole day off for a 15 minute appointment or something. Anticipating the next level of frustration to hit when I’m billed for all of this since our healthcare systems works so well.
Updated review: a representative from Lennox Hill Radiology reached out to me to apologize about the situation. He explained me the issues behind the scenes that caused all the confusion and said he & the team would work on correcting it, so it doesn’t happen again. He was very sincere and honest with me and this has changed my view on them. Anytime a business can own up to their mistakes and work on it, I’m al for; and they have my support. He was also able to tell me the gentleman’s name who was so kind & helpful to me. I made sure to point out how much you wonderful and helpful this gentleman was. I have updated my score on them, because this shows me that they care.
Not a good experience! I was scheduled a MRI appointment at 7: 30am and was told to be there by 7am. I get there at 7am, being one of only two patients there. I check in and wait and wait. Now it’s 7: 45 and nothing; no one has spoken to me or anything. Only after hearing a man come in 7: 46 with also 7: 30am MRI appt and get taken back before me, did I go up to speak with someone. It’s now 8am. The only saving grace was the gentleman at the front, checking people (I feel bad, I did not get his name). He was very apologetic and friendly, and checked around to figure out why I hadn’t been seen. I was first told, someone “force booked” me and there were no available rooms. Then I was told that a tech did not come in. But then why were other people who came in after me being seen?
I finally got downstairs for my MRI and was constantly told how they were squeezing me in and I should lucky, as if I did something wrong. I was told undress and sit until my name is called. I waited, waited and waited. Multiple staff walked right by me and never acknowledged me. The MRI tech finally noticed me and he was very polite and apologetic. What’s should have taken maybe an hour total, took me over 2.5 hours.
I understand mistakes happen and things get backed up, but that’s when you communicate with people. You don’t just leave them sitting there and they have to initiate something to happen. Being transparent with people is key! And not making your patients feel bad for something that wasn’t their fault.
For me it’s not mistakes happen, because they do, it’s how people own up to them and handle those mistakes is what’s important.
Every person with whom I came in contact at LHR on the day of my appointment was outstanding. Everyone took excellent care of me. I was not treated like a can of beans on a conveyor belt. I was treated with respect and kindness. Thank you LHR for providing your patients with compassion and excellence.
I arrived early filled out the forms had a short wait. I was treated very well for my MRI. Everybody was very pleasant very professional place was clean and I am quite pleased. I would definitely recommend Lenix Hill imaging center is the place to go good job.

All the staff was outstanding, helpful, kind, considerate. They all made a terrible experience so much Better than I expected.
I went into the office extremely nervous the nurse had so much patience with me and calmed me down at such a beautiful man or I would recommend going there to anyone who is something I regret it and they’ve made it very easy
Very well organized. Technician was very professional and courteous. Overall a very goid experience.
Last three appointments:
Performed procedure on wrong part of my body.
Lost appointment (made by one of their own doctors)
Had incomplete/incorrect paperwork and unable to perform correct procedure, despite assuring me everything was good to go earlier in the day.
At this point learning to live with chronic pain is a lot more enticing than a return visit. Stay far, far away.
They were supposed to schedule me in for a 3T MRI. I even called the day before to make sure of it. As I was placed into the machine I saw it was a 1.5 and I stopped them. They confirmed the MD order was for a 3t machine and because the wait would have been 1.5 hr, they paid for my Uber to go to the e 60th and Park Ave location. Their customer service was excellent because though I almost got my MRI in the wrong machine, they did rectify their mistake. However took one star off because I caught the error, not them.
It was fine. When I checked in I told the guy at the window that I wanted to pay the co pay for the procedure. He said none was due. I told him to check again & the he saw what I needed to pay. Good thing I challenged him.
I have been with Lenox Hill Radiology for more than 20 years. All I can say is thank you to the staff for your wonderful service.
Service is greta, staff if great and friendly and distance isn't much a of a problem but just one thing I could say is if your gonna offer music request during a MRI scan or any service in that matter at least play the song the patient requested then I could feel a little warmer with that fire track in my ears instead of freezing my feet and hands for 20 mins
The experience here was horrible. I arrived early for a 8: 30 am appointment, only to be told they were already 45 min behind. I had called to confirm the amount of time needed to ensure enough time off worked, I even added an additional 30 minutes for good measure. I was at the clinic for over 4hrs for procedures I was ensured would not take over an 1.5 hrs. I will never schedule at this facility again.
I would have given them a 5 star review but the wait on the phone to get a live person to make an appointment was at least 20 minutes before I hung up. I tried again and same thing happened. It was so frustrating that I went to thier location instead.
Other then that the people were very nice and efficient.
I was raken quickly, within a few moments of checking in. Check-in is a lengthy process (10 minutes) so I'd recommend arriving ten minutes prior to help ensure promptness. All staff was welcoming and helpful.
When I go I never sit long and that’s what I like about it and it’s never a problem when I asked for cds I always get it thanks for the quick work
Very much on time, organized. Only suggestion on bone density is to let patient know how long each scan is since you have to hold an awkward position that may not be comfortable.
Although most of the people I saw were helpful, efficient, and friendly, the technician who did my breast sonogram was quite rude and took half the skin off my armpit by scraping the edge of the probe there repeatedly. So than somewhat lessened what was overall a very positive experience. Hopefully they will find someone else because she was not up to LHR’s usual standards.
