Lenox Hill Radiology Huntington

I went to Lenox Hills Radiology in Huntington for a breast MRI, they were all amazing! I forgot my prescription and Laura at the desk was so helpful, she called my doctor and got it for me. Michelle the tech was so compassionate and patient, she helped me calm my nerves and go thought with the test. Thank you so much!

Today I returned to the Huntington Branch for my routine, annual mammography. I was greeted with the warm friendly voice of the technician, Lisa. During the course of my testing, Lisa was careful, courteous and considerate. Lisa exuded concern and compassion regarding the discomfort involved and therefore I relaxed. Lisa's predecessor was cold, harsh, unconcerned and void of compassion. How wonderful for me, and all the women who are Lisa's patients. Cheers to you, LISA!

My first time here, very professional clean and the technicians let you know what the steps are that they are doing to examine your breast. I felt very comfortable. Amy was the bomb.

Everyone was very friendly from the front desk to the technicians. My CT with dye took a little longer than anticipated, but overall it was a good experience thanks to the tech people!

I was feeling so pleased to have chosen this conveniently located and comfortable lab…. Until I arrived at my periodontal appointment today (after a chauffeured drive due to a broken ankle) and learned that the results of my CT scan, taken a couple weeks ago at this location, had never been sent to my doctor as requested! I cannot imagine why that happened, as I was only there for that sole purpose. I would suggest anyone who uses this Lab follow up to make sure reports are sent where they are meant to.

Update! My CT results were finally sent to my Doctor, after he called them directly,
But they were sent in an unreadable format.

As a response to My 2 attempts to email these issues to Lenox Hill Radiology, I have received a Mailer-Daemon message.

First time going here and totally impressed. I usually go to zwanger for mammogram and sonogram but they couldn’t fit me in for 6 weeks. Lenox Hill got me in a few days later! The staff is outstanding…from the lady who made my appointment to the lady who checked me in (what a wonderful person) and the two technicians who did my exams. Would definitely go back!

My experience today was horrendous. The technician assigned to the MRI imaging test was surly and dismissive. She could not care less about patient care or comfort. She never gave me ear plugs and the loud sound of the machine was damaging to the ear drums. In addition, even though I asked for her to talk to me (through the microphone) periodically and let me know how many minutes left in each interval of the test (as other technicians have kindly done in the past), she refused. She told me it was not part of the new protocol. Apparently the new protocol doesn’t take into consideration the patients hearing. I hope the office manager will look into the matter.

I had an excellent experience at Lenox Hill. The technicians were professional and compassionate.

They are very pleasant and professional. They handled my appointment in a fast and timely manner and was thorough with the procedure.

Everyone from beginning to end was very helpful, kind, courteous and efficient. Gary who was my radiology tech was extremely welcoming and most importantly explanatory. It was a great experience.

Fantastic facility. Needed a breast biopsy and they made everything so easy. My techs were amazing and helped me stay calm throughout. Highly recommend LHR

Service is good. Only issue is the constant annoying texts and emails you send out as reminders. From the day I made my appointment I received texts AND emails every single day. It becomes quite annoying. I opted out over the phone yet here we are again with another text asking for a review. So 3 stars bc the service is good. Wait times on the phone are long and the emails and texts need to stop. You don’t need to remind people daily. And then the day of my CT scan I get a VM from you with someone giving me the wrong day of my appointment. A little less technology can go a long way.

The staff were all super sweet and nice. The complaint I have is this - I am 80yrs old. My daughter brought me to this appointment for an ultrasound colonoscopy. After the prep the night before, a terrible sleep, and I’m 80 and slow moving, we arrived 6 minutes late for an 11am appointment. By the time we were checked in, 10 minutes late. Because we “missed our slotted time” we had to wait…. Nearly an hour and a half! I hadn’t taken my morning pills nor had I eaten. By the time I was able to take my morning medication, it was 2pm. I was detained an HOUR AND A HALF for being SIX MINUTES LATE. Ridiculous.

Friendly professional staff! Quick and efficient! Easy to make an appointment! Found my new radiology place!
