Leo's Bagels, New York NY

My friend recommends me to go for their Lox bagel. Taste good.

Limited seats and no washroom in this store.

We researched restaurants in advance and quickly came across Leo's Bagels.
With an empty stomach, we headed to this hectic restaurant.
After a long wait, we were finally able to place an order. We paid with a credit card and the saleswoman said that her machine wasn't working and the credit card wouldn't work! But she left and my bank then blocked my credit card because credit card fraud had often taken place in the store!
Payment was then made in cash, of course we paid twice and my credit card was blocked for the entire holiday!

Portions are huge and it was delicious. Cute park next door to sit if it’s crowded. Service was quick and the people were great.

These are my favorite bagels in the city. It's nearly always busy, but when you can get in, they're worth it.
The ordering process is confusing and hectic, and the electronic menu likes to disappear as you're reading it, so be prepared.

My son lives in NYC and suggested me to try this bagel place. I went after a beautiful morning walk along the East River Greenway. Got an egg sandwich with a whole wheat everything bagel for my son. He said it was delicious! They also give you 14 bagels for a dozen! Highly recommended! The bagels are wonderful with tasty crust and soft delicious inside!

This store must be famous for the strongest door spring. But it's worth fighting it as the bagels are massive and warm, staff is friendly and markups aren't outrageous

Bagels are perfect. Friendly employees, wide choice and plenty of room to eat your bagel there.

We decided on Leo’s Bagels for breakfast on our way to check out the Brooklyn Bridge and loved every bite. Our party of four decided to try the Classic bagel with salmon, cream cheese, capers and special seasoning on Everything Bagels (regular and gluten free) and we all loved our choice! The sandwiches were hearty so we couldn’t finish them in one sitting and the customer service is fabulous. Very friendly staff. Give it a try!

The staff was rude. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken was under-cooked. I went back since I work in the area, the staff refused to accept it and started arguing. I would not recommend such a place.

You can't go to NY and not try a NY bagel. I just went with the basic: toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese. Big and chewy. But clean and easy to eat on the go. Most just stay in. Best to look at the menu online first before going to the store. The menu are high up and not easy to read from where you order.

Bagels were awesome! A bit of a wait even on a Sunday morning just a testament to how popular the place is.

Average and expensive food (for bagels with a little meat or similar and salad) but top service and nice atmosphere

Amazing Bagel. Horrible experience. Short angry woman yelling at everyone for numbers/receipt. Don't want to get bullied by a woman with a power trip before I eat. Is she okay? Even the staff looked irritated with her. I wasn't even the victim of her attitude, it was the people around me -still upsetting. I understand that it needs to be efficient, but a loud voice shouldn't equal being an absolute meanie.

As a first time visiter, I was overwhelmed with the choices available and went with a classic sesame seed bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese. The bagel was good and chewy, however the ratio of cream cheese to bagel was too much for me. I would recommend a bagel sandwich or added toppings.
