Leo's Casa Calamari reviews
13I’m Vegan and order Vegetali without the cheese all the time. Always fresh, veggies are incredible, crust is perfect. Does not bend at end and not over saucy. You must try this.
They’ve moved to a smaller location, more like a pizzeria. Food’s still quite good, Calamari is very crispy, ask for spicy dipping sauce, rice balls with meat inside are reasonable. My fave dish is pasta with lobster tail and mussels, Fra Diavlo. You save money by paying in cash rather than credit card. No liquor license at this time
I have always and will always reccomend their food. I adore and love their vodka pasta amazing! My family order once a week from there. The best!

They moved to a smaller restaurant 1 block away.
Food is pretty good and solid, but not the best.
The food is just ok. The wait staff was doing their job and friendly. The atmosphere seemed very chill like if it's your house which I don't mind. The prices were high but understandable because it's seafood and everything nowadays are $10 and up. I ordered buffalo wings which looks great, but didn't taste great. It wasn't juicy but rather hard. I also ordered a half dozen raw oysters which didn't taste fresh to me and an order of crab cakes. The crab cakes were just ok by itself but it comes with tartar sauce which saved it. It came with a side of potato croquette and mixed broccoli and carrot vegetables. We ordered a Greek beer called Mythos which is very nice than your regular Heineken or Corona.
It was one of the best Italian restaurant! How come it’s closed? I hope you are relocated. Can you post where, please? !
Food is Delicious and Huge portions. Waitstaff is Not good. It takes too long to get your food.
Really good chicken rolls. The is good just as well. Always order for delivery when I'm working in Bay Ridge Brooklyn
Great food; big portions. I enjoyed a lot eating and my husband enjoyed the european football match. We order a salad and fried calamari shrimp plate. I thought it was not enough but my husband said wait and see. An indeed it was a lot of food. Which we enjoyed a lot. We will come back
Real deal, red sauce, old school - like nonna makes, as they say. Simply delicious, fresh Italian food! From pasta to pizza, casual and comfortable joint. Thank god this place (still) exists! There are several options for the vegan diner (pasta with red sauce, outstanding broccoli rabe that had me literally grabbing extra forkfuls from my dining companion's plate - even a rabe sandwich). Five big stars to this star of Bay Ridge!
I had dinner here with my family recently and it was nice but certainly not worth it. We waited almost 45 minutes for six dinner dishes, it felt like everyone that came after us got served first. The food was alright, the calamari was good quality but not the best in how well it was prepared; which is ironic given that it's the restaurant's name.
Aside from the wait, everything else was great. I tried most of the dishes we ordered, they were pretty good and averagely priced. The Leo special is a chicken Parm.hero with penne sauce and ricotta chees which is a great deal for $10.95 and I strongly suggest to try.
Neighborhood Italian food & more that can't be beat! Best food great portions best price. 5 STARS
Have been coming to this for a while now. The food doesn’t disappoint. The penne vodka plate is amazing and so are the large mozzarella sticks. Keep it up guys.
