Let There Be Bagels, Port Washington NY

The prices are ridiculous $9.78 for bacon eggs and cheese on a roll.roll was a little stale I didn't get anything else. The bagels are really thin. I won't go back.

Specialty sandwiches are always great. Ordered a brownie, picked it up, and brought it home. It was awful. Big, dry, flavorless cube. It was so light I thought it was fake. No moisture to it at all. Big disappointment

Although their bagles are super and their staff is great, while I was waiting on line for my bagel to be made that I saw muffins in the display case so I decided to take a look and as I got closer I happened to noticed their were fruit flies, and not only that but they were inside the display case and on the muffins as well. I thought that was revolting to see. God only knows if they were also on the bagels as well as in the deli display as well. At first I was going to tell them to not make my bagel but I had already seen it being made, but I can assure you that is the last time I am going there. I know that there is another bagel place nearby called Boychicks Bagels, hopefully they don't have flies.

There are bagels galore here and you can pretty much ask for anything you need. They also have deli sandwiches and different types of cream cheeses available. They are also convenient for quick items like water, soda, juice, etc. They have convenient to-go snacks and chips available as well. This is a great option if you are stopping by for breakfast before a road trip. You can grab your bagels and your snacks to get on the road.

My go-to is a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. This most definitely is perfect every time! They also have excellent coffee and tea options, either hot or iced as well as other drinks depending on your preferences.

There is also ample seating available if you want to sit and have your bagel or food. They are also accommodating for dietary restrictions and have low-calorie alternatives available!

After 7 years on LI, my search for the perfect best bagel is over. Finally, I found the bagel with a just-right texture, perfect taste, proper seasoning. The dark crust with a just perfect sense, chewy interior. Finally, not bread that pretend to be a bagel. Not flat, not bready, and finally, a bagel that doesn't require tasting! Hallelujah! Even the hole in the middle is just right! Just one suggestion if the owner wants to make his/ her bagels even more perfect: make the crust more shiny and crackly, you know, the kind of crust that's covered in little microblisters.

RJ last brought me here in 2016 and we were glad to see its still fantastic. If you are bagel lovers like us, this is bagel heaven for sure. I have to let RJ order for me because I would get one of everything. We ordered bacon, egg, and cheese on sesame and salt bagels, and got 2 dozen bagels to go. The sesame ended up being the best for freezing, salt bagels don't freeze well. We also got a few egg, plain, and cinnamon raisin. I would relocate to NY to be near these bagels.

For a $3 bagel you gets your moneys worth. There’s nothing special about the bagels there just hard and deflated. It’s definitely what you’d expect but if your looking for a good bagel I would not recommend this place.

Call to place an order at 5: 45 when they close at six and the manager told me they couldn’t make it. Manager obviously has no skills on how to properly run an establishment.

USED TO BE THE BEST SPOT BY FAR. LIVED IN KAUAI FOR 5 YEARS AND WOULD HAVE ANYONE COMING TO VISIT BRING A COUPLE DOZEN LOVED THEM THAT MUCH!

BACK IN TOWN AND WENT 2 WEEKS BACK AND ALL THE "SPECIALS" DIDN'T SEEM SPECIAL AT ALL GETTING AN EXTRA 1X BAGEL A DOZEN VS. BOGO THAT WAS ALWAYS 1 OR 2 DAYS OUT THE WEEK.

THE BACON, EGG N CHEESE I USED TO GET DAILY ON THE WAY TO WORK FOR UNDER 5BUCKZ WITH COFFEE COST ME 9.75+ BUT WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WHEN ASKING FOR AN EXTRA NAPKIN TO BE INCLUDED WASNT AN ADDTIONAL CHARGE! ;)
I DO GET IT, BUSINESS TOOK SOME HITS BUT EXPECTING IT TO BE THE REASON THEY NEEDED TO UPDATE PRICING MORE THAN DOUBLE DOESN'T FLY IN MY BOOKS.
THESE GUYS HAVE KILLED IT FOR YEARS WITH HUGE MARGINS TO BEGIN WITH SO A COUPLE OF RAINY QUARTERS SHOULDN'T HAVE HURT TO BAD SINCE THE TRUE LABOR COSTS ARE MINIMAL SINCE THEY PAY THEIR WORKERS REALLY BADLY CONSIDERING HOW PROFITABLE THE BUSINESS MODEL IS THAT RELIES SOULY ON THE FOLKS IN THE KICHEN THAT START AT 2 N 3AM ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE DAY. (HUNGOUT IN OLYPIC WINDSURF ALOT AT NIGHT BACK THEN SO ALWAYS HEARD THE MORNING CREW GETTING STARTED TO LET ME KNOW TO GO TO BED ALREADY!)

I FELT THEY WERE JUST TAKING AN OPPORTUNITY TO REALLY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE WEALTHY FOLKS THAT TEND TO RESIDE IN PORT MORE AND MORE ESPECIALLY NOW BUT SCREW THE TRUE LOYAL FOLKS THAT WENT THERE RELIGIOUSLY FOR YEARS THAT DONT HAVE 25 BUCKS FOR A FEW BAGALS

Another establishment that doesn't train thier employees to say, PLEASE WHEN GIVING THE PRICE OF THE ORDERTHAT WAS TAKEN! HERE'S AN IDEA, TRY IT!

Great bagels. Lots of specials, sandwiches and other foods. Fridge full of all kinds of drinks. Fresh coffees and lots of muffins, cookies and healthier eats too. Top rated place.

Great north shore Port Washington bagel store. Bagels excellent, spreads are the best, staff are great. Fresh & varied product.

Dropped off the kids at school then I was craving a delicious bagel and what’s better then a bagel shop for a bagel? Nothing! Came here to have breakfast with my wife and we enjoyed a blueberry bagel and mini plain bagel with coffees. Very fresh and amazing selection of so many options of food, snacks and beverages. So many you’ll definitely find something you’d like to eat here. The bakery section is a wow factor but since I’m on a little diet I didn’t do it but if you’re not watching what you’re eating definitely go crazy. Highly recommend for people to enjoy breakfast and even lunch here.

I came in here to do a Uber Eats pick up. I always say Hello when I walk into do the food pick ups. They ignored me. I was the only person un the store. The lady looked up at me and continued to clean the bagel case. I said Hello I'm here for Uber Eats! She continued to ignore me. A guy popped his head out from the back. I said hi to him and told him I was picking up an order from Uber Eats! All he did was nod his head and point to the corner of the store. Theres no signs they say Food delivery pick ups! He got anoyed that he had to come over to help me. Maybe next time I'll speak in spanish for them to help me out. ‍️

Been coming here for a while. Food is overpriced, takes way too long, and they forget parts of my order. Don't recommend this place, go to Boychik's or Schmear's instead

A Port Washington, NY institution! Been around decades! Much more than their huge selection of bagels. Great baked goods; sandwiches; beverages; etc! Helpful, friendly Associates! Reasonable prices! Everything is fresh and delicious!

Let there be rip offs! Just wanted a bacon egg cheese on a roll. By far the lowest quality egg sandwich I've ever eaten, very stale roll, cheap cheese, stringy fatty bacon. Oh add an ice tea the total was $13 HAHA. Save yourself the time and money, don't go here.

Ordered fish platter for the holiday. Website had the price at $25 per person (included sturgeon). At pickup was told it was almost ten dollars more than the website and said when he took the order, he mentioned it. No sturgeon Price gouging on a holiday? Obnoxious. Not the first time either
