I had the seafood ink pasta. It was very good, and from my understanding, quite an authentic representation of a dish you would truly find in southern Italy. I would definitely come back again, though I’m not sure I’ll find myself back in Williamsburg anytime soon

Came here for restaurant week 2023. Incredible menu, friendly staff, beautiful interior. They also have a rooftop bar with a spectacular view of the skyline

Food was so good. Went during restaurant week a few weeks back. The branzino was amazing. The ricotta and fresh bread was also awesome. And the aesthetic.

The dining event Dining in the Dark experience was absolutely not worth it. And the food was not a highlight at all. They walked us through a beautiful, intimate and dimly lit dining area with soft music on our way to the back room…a much more brightly lit, small room with led lights that almost all either flicker or don’t work. Strange ambiance indeed…The event wasn’t good but this is about the food. The purpose of the event was to be able to taste the food using heightened senses. And it worked. Unfortunately for us. The appetizer, duck pate on house made crostini crackers was probably the best dish. The next course was the main. A short rib orrechiette pasta in a red sauce. Short rib was good. Pasta was fresh made. Sauce was dried out. This ruined the dish. Then dessert was a pistachio cake with some vanilla ice cream on the side. Cake was dry and lacked flavor. Ice cream was ok. Nothing special, could have been Mrs Meyers for all I know. But the reason I wrote this whole negative review. The reason I added my input, as if any one needed another “foodie” critiquing a restaurant, is that all this culminated in a very obvious scam that they run. Whether through Fever or the restaurant, it’s a scam. They brought us a bill which listed a drink (I ordered), an “open food” charge (?) and a gratuity charge. The open food charge was $44. What could this be? We prepaid for the food, that’s what the event was for. Then I noticed that the gratuity (not included in event fee) was $13. Weird, that’s too little to be for 2 $120 tickets for the event…and too much for the cost of my drink (which was $24). Long story short, two different women tried to convince me that 20% of my $24 drink = $13…Woops but it doesn’t though. Then they ran it back and explained that the open food charge was the gratuity since the tickets didn’t cover that. Hmm interesting. So what’s the second gratuity labeled “gratuity” for? The second woman comes by and tries to once again do new math on me and tell me that 20% of $24 is $13. Finally…they “fix” the charge to accurately reflect the drink gratuity (~$5). Now you would think that this was an innocent mistake. But in fact…it happened to two of our neighbors as well. This was no mistake. Another couple also paid because they didnt want to bother with getting it fixed. Sure, it’s only a few dollars. But why scam it out of us? And when our neighbors asked for clarification of their check, the woman had the audacity to literally repeat the lie, that she JUST admitted to to us a minute ago, to the neighboring couple. Literally right next to us. What? If they’re brazenly lying about something like that, why would they stop there? Housemade red sauce or Ragu? Homemade crostini or a quick trip to Costco 15 minutes before the dinner rush?

Excellent food and rest service. The code Inside Leuca is relaxing and easy. Low light and smooth music, beautiful decor. My wife and I had an early Valentines day dinner and the food was amazing! I had the steak and my wife has the roasted chicken. We also had the fire roasted cabbage and Hot honey ricotta for appetizers. They were all delicious! It was not cheap, but very much worth!

Leuca's stands incomparable.in all aspects. You want a high-end experience, come to the William Vale. Leuca is on the sub- ground level.

Review for DINING IN THE DARK only.
The experience was highly disappointing as from the price point of $150pp, I thought this would be a fine dining type of experience but the food was very mediocre and even bad. 3 courses consisting of sheeps milk ricotta toast with mortadella sandwich, ragu with pasta shells, + pistachio cake. The first courses' bread was stale and cold, the desert was absolutely just stale. After looking at the menu prices of the normal restaurant menu, the food prices did not seem to add up to the face value of the experience since we were served smaller portions for the apps. The difference between the face value and actual menu prices was the premium for getting blindfolded. Several other diners voiced similar opinions that this experience was a severe let down. Given the advertisement of the experience, I thought the menu would have varied at least slightly from what was normally served at the restaurant but they just served exactly what was on the normal menu. The experience is very gimmicky.

PRO TIP: Go on a Tuesday night to see the amazing jazz band that takes requests! Also, order the sheep's milk ricotta. You're welcome:)

Food was good (except the pesto pasta, don’t get that, tasted like wasabi). Ambiance is nice.

CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS. Waiter kept saying the bottle of wine we wanted wasn’t available and then came back with a more expensive one, waiter charged us for 2 bottles of wine when we only had one, waiter charged us for two bottles of Still water but only said “sparkling or still” so we assumed still was the free option.

Chef Rico served up an amazing explosion of flavors across our pallettes as we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. Service from our delightful and attentive server Nicole made the night even better. The beautiful classy decor and low lighting was very romantic. Leuca is a must go see experience that should be at the top of every foodies bucket list.

Review specific to the Dining in the dark experience with Fever.

Way WAY overpriced for what it was. For 150$ per person I was expecting a high-end experience, maybe multiple small courses.

The food was really below average; I would have already found it pricey for 50$.
Extremely disappointed

The restaurant is easy to find, nicely decorated, giving the vibes of contemporary Italian. The ambiance is nice and good for group hangout.
Portions of food is pretty generous. Most of the dishes tasted pretty good. Our favorite dishes tonight are the OG pizza, and the Pork Chopped. However their wine selection is average for any bottles of under $100.

I’d give this place a 5 stars for their food but was not quite happy with the seating arrangement and the dining experience. They gave us a table of 4 when we are a group 6 people. The hostess who arranged this table is a white girl, not to offend, but 5 of us are Asian women with 1 Asian male. If 6 white women/male visited tonight, I believe they won’t arrange this table for them?
Not to mention a few other minor mistakes the servers and waiter made during the dining experience.

Would come back for the food if we’re in the area, but it would be great if they could improve their services.

Best italian food we've had in Brooklyn so far. Everything was excellent and the portions are really generous. I'm a member of the clean plate club and even I took leftovers home. Sometimes when I'm hungry I think about the Black Tonnarelli pasta dish that I had here, one of the best pastas I've ever had in my life.

A very fine restaurant with good Italian food. We ordered a pasta and a pizza, a couple cocktails, ones side and one appetizer. Everything was great. The space is beautiful.

Awful. Poor. Very disappointing. Made lovely reservations in advance. As soon as we walked in we were told this is the last call for food and drinks. What a way to sour a special occasion. Couldn’t even say, have this drink on the house. Left and found better.

Great ambience and service! Our waitress was so courteous and helpful. We had the sheep milk ricotta, which was delicious, the octopus balls were good too. The lamb pasta was also very tasty, good portion size. The clam pasta was ok, the portion was very small compared to the lamb pasta.

Overall the food was past and appetizers that we had was very good. It’s just quite pricy.

Leuca seems, upon entering, to the be an upscale casual chic experience. The decor is beautiful but soft, the bar is gorgeous. But as soon as you sit in a booth you realize that this place was put together by people who never planned to sit and eat. The benches for the booths are low and weirdly far away from the table—which makes it really hard to eat. I didn’t think much of this—just an oversight—until the food was so thoroughly meh. Not even mediocre. I am usually skeptical of upscale southern Italian because really that food doesn’t want to be upscale. But at least get the flavors right. Or make them flavorful at all! One flavorful dish that was nevertheless a disaster was the duck liver pâté, which would have been soft and rich and salty and delicious had they not MELTED A SQUARE OF CHEESE ON TOP OF IT. What? !? It was more disgusting than it sounds. The only redemption of the food were the deserts—their pastry chef is legit.

I really enjoyed eating here. We are staying in the William Vale, with access to this restaurant from the lobby. We went for lunch so it wasn't busy and had a nice time. Very comfy.

Nice restaurant. Staff was very attentive and definitely made myself and my guests feel welcomed. Great atmosphere, intimate setting, and our whole table enjoyed their meals. Would definitely go back and try a new dish. I had the Bavette Steak Vesuvius it comes with Salsa Rossa, Hazelnut, Crispy Potatoes. The steak was flavorful, I loved the potatoes - the whole plate was great.
