L’Express, New York NY

Quite pricey for the quality of the food, ordered short ribs but it was more of a boeuf bourguignon, and crémant was completely tasteless (worst crémant I have ever tried). Grilled saumon was OK.

I really like going to l’express, the place is nice and the staff is very attentive. Shout out to Carmen, she was amazing!

Alluring! Charming! Brilliant! Just a few adjectives to announce the beauty of this place. The ambience, food is always consistently great. But the lovely staff. There’s no place better. The staff behind the bar, the servers, the busboys…it make me feel like a home away from home. I would not hesitate to go here for any meal, even a midday snack or drink or coffee. They symbolize the European cafe vibe quite well. Merci L’Express!

I have been a regular here for over 10 years. Food is excellent French Bistro. Drinks are generous and attentive to customer nuance. I bring my out of town guests and regularly meet friends and coworkers here. If you are in Flatiron this is a great place to grab drinks and dinner.

An exceptional bistro! Cool relaxing vibe, great service, and consistently excellent food, creative cocktails, and delicious wine. The steak tartare rocks! Carlos, the bartender, is the best. He makes the best Pamplemouse cocktails. His food suggestions are always on point! Everyone I've taken to this restaurant has loved it!

I love the place, the service is incredible, the food is very delicious, the menu is very varied and I love the desserts, my favorite was Apricot Almond Tart, I loved it

I went back and this is truly the best Croque Monsieur in the city. Outstanding!

The croque monsieur was delicious (although it needs one more slice of ham). The fries were excellent with a light sprinkle of rosemary.
Lovely sitting outside in the breeze and the waiter was very nice and attentive. Definitely go for the croque monsieur.you won't be disappointed.

I have been going to L’Express for many years and I always leave feeling very satisfied and happy. The food and drinks are excellent, the staff members to name a few of them: Carmen, Gherman, Solange, Maria, Amir and Andrea always take great care of me and make me feel like I am dining with friends and family. The gin martini always arrives perfectly made and the pork chop is my new favorite on the menu. I have had hundreds of meals there and have never been disappointed. And I when I look around and see people at the bar and at surrounding tables everyone looks to be very happy and enjoying themselves. It is my staple in the Flatiron and I hope to continue to dine there for many years to come.

Just a top notch place. Food was great, service was great, prices reasonable, drinks were good and atmosphere was fun.

Pam is always delightful. Pleasant and fast! I come to see her every Saturday brunch at the bar!

What can I say you land at Kennedy at midnight, you take a cab to the hotel, then you walk to L'Express for dinner. It's how you start your holiday. The beef tartare, maybe the best I've had. The escargot, approved of by a Parisian. L'Ambiance, low lighting, it all works. Quintessential New York. Quintessential Park Avenue. You sort of think you're in a French bistro. Highly recommended.

This my go to restaurant when I’m in the neighborhood… food always fresh and tasty, ambiance great, the staff on point and friendly specially Maria we are lucky to have you as a waitress every time we go there… looking forward to book my next dinner with you guys!

Service is fabulous, friendly, welcoming & engaging. Food is solid and consistently well prepared as I expect from a neighborhood stalwart. Vibe is perfect, great mellow energy, good morning, noon or nite. Love to linger with friends & guests.

Great spot for dinner.our server was super friendly and the food we ordered was very tasty. The beet and goat cheese salad was especially good!
