Liberty Hound reviews
16I checked in and was told 30 minutes. I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for a table and then went to check-in. The hostess then said it would be around another 20 minutes. I was with a party of 5 and during that time, I saw many parties being seated. We left after we were told another 20 minutes. Very disappointing.
Got seated at a table that didn’t seem cleaned properly; it was sticky and bees were buzzing around it. The server didn’t seem to care much, and then I asked to be moved to another table and he seemed inconvenienced.
So very disappointed with our experience for lunch here. I normally love this place but today was just awful. Started out with the Hungarian pepper dip. It came out cold with melted cheese on top. The waiter did bring another, but when it came back the crock was 1/2 empty and missing the cheese. I ordered the market salad with chicken. It initially only had 3 strawberries on it, had to ask for more. The goat cheese was nonexistent. My friend got the $25 lobster roll which was pretty lackluster for the price and tasted like the meat was old. The waiter was nice enough to take it off but still. The whole experience was just underwhelming and can't say that I would chose to go here again.
Atmosphere and food was great just wish that the menu was a little bit bigger and offered more options
Love this place. The staff is always friendly and helpful, great location and the food is wonderful. They have really good cocktails as well. Highly recommend
Excellent seafood and elevated pub food selection with Buffalo classics like Beef On Weck a must try for those in the know. Eat outside if you can, beautiful view right on the water.
Great location, good food, great beer selection. Service was slow but very nice and professional.
We waited at our table for over 30 minutes. I young man came and poured water. I asked him if he could let our waitress know we were here. It was still a good 10 minutes paid for. I did get a discount on my salad. An appol she came to our table. She asked about drinks. We had known our order for quite some time waiting.y husband ordered a drink. I asked for a side of ice. Bring my water had none. And told her that I didn't know yet. And she took our order and never came back to our table. I had to go inside and stand out of the way of servers. Trying to order my drink and my side of ice I never received. Finally I saw our waitress peeking out of the window at her tables I'm guessing. I then asked for my drink and side of ice again. Our food came and my salad was missing my candied walnuts and goat cheese. It was a very small salad for $17. I finally got our waitress attention and told her my salad was missing a few things. She came back and set down a souflette of walnuts and goat cheese. And started to walk away. I said young lady these are not candied. She said we're out of them. And my name is Taylor. Not in a nice tone either. Must be I offended her by calling her young lady. She definitely isn't a happy or people person. I asked for a manager at the server station and a server said he was a manager. I was telling him our whole experience and Taylor showed up and started arguing with me. Wow. I paid my bill and I asked the supposed manager our service name and he said I not telling you. She a good waitress. I would of never ordered the salad if I would of know. Never a I'm sorry or even we are out of candied walnuts. Just nothing. And I can't believe when she saw me talking to the other server she came over to Or even the food we me and argue. We definitely didn't get the service we paid for.
Plan a day trip with this one, right next to military ships, planes and so much to do within a 4 mile radius. The food and atmosphere is epic. Especially for vets, military or you just love all things history. Highly recommend Especially for out of towners
We always love coming here. A great place to enjoy a beautiful summer day. Beer is good and cold, the food is fresh and well presented, interesting views of the harbour and the staff is friendly and welcoming. What else could you ask for. Well done.
Service - Poor, slow and inattentive
Food - Good, pub food but a bit classier
Price - Modest, in line with others. Apps are overpriced for quantity.
Would I return?
Maybe. If it was for a friend's thing, sure. For myself and my wife? No.

Slow service, tourist location. Great atmosphere but ordinary food and beverage. There are better choices in Buffalo
