Lieutenant John H. Martinson Playground reviews
12Lots to do here for all ages. Bonus they have bathrooms, which isn't the norm at staten island parks.
Nice park. Everytime I come here there is a park attendant. You should have seen this park fifty years ago when I was a kid. Very different.
One of the best playgrounds for kids on SI. Nicely designed with a variety of apparatus to climb, jump, swing and slide on.
Its a very his park, it used to be the best, unfortunately alot of the play equipment is showing wear and tear, and they got rid of a slide shot yet replacing it, a that said my son loves the park and we enjoy our time there. There is even a small area to work out wth exercise equipment. One they renovate the broken equipment this park would easily be 5 stars.
It’s a playground with four basketball stand and two side handball wall. I come here to play handball and there’s a lot of space for kids to run around and a lot of options for kids to do.
Great playground for kids, has two cool slides, great place, one of the slides was under maintenance but other then that pretty nice playground, lots of activities for kids i mean more then on some playgrounds, some of which i haven't seen on others.
Very nice playground. Lots to do. Plenty of seating for adults and a lot of shaded areas. And it was nice to have the sprinkler for the kids.
My 10 year olds and 6 year old love this park. Gets a little crowded and sometimes hard to see the kids with the 2 levels.
This park has something for everyone. There are playgrounds, various sports fields. There is so much to do at this park. It has slide and swings and bunch of monkey bars. Bathroom’s was clean. And there is also a diaper changing table for babies. Overall its very good park.
People who take care of the park they kicked us out for having a service dog in the park even when proper registration was shown
Has exercise section where you can perform a total of 6 diff exercise w your children. Has a sprinkler section. Has a section for toddlers and then another separate section for bigger children. The people who visit are very friendly. The park is always super clean.
Great place for the Grandson and his friends. Gets busy on holidays and weekends. We like the "climbing" theme (I wish they had gone further with it). Highest slides on Staten Island. Sprinklers usually on when it's 80° - if not, ask the on location attendant. Clean lavatories!
