Life time is one of the most expensive gyms out there but it’s for a reason. They offer everything you can imagine and it’s luxurious. I’m happy to be a member of this gym and I’m not planning to move.

The classes and the spa are the best part. Thats it. I would not consider this a diamond club compared to the other lifetime facilities. First the gym is split up in 3 levels (half the gym in the basement) which is inconvenient moving around. Another issue with this location the outdoor pool is an extra fee - thats ridiculous considering its the highest level and we still have to pay for the pool. The good - clean, friendly staff, amazing teachers and nice spa facility. I signed up because of convenience but I would not consider this a top of the line sportsclub sorry

If you an avid gym lover you will enjoy the cleanliness and open space for this gym. The gym is situated on the 11th floor and sits on 1 floor and carries a large rooms for classes, a fun cycle room trying to capture the soul cycle concept, great space for stretching and about 4 racks for lifting. This gym isn’t ever overly busy where there isn’t room to work out like most gyms. The machines are probably the most important to note, they don’t focus on having lots of machines for lifting, they are definitely missing a few key machines that most gyms have. However, if you go to their clubs in the suburbs you can note the difference in machinery due to New York space limits. The sauna, spa are well kept and Clean. The higher price for membership cuts out the notably annoying people you don’t want to have attending. We enjoy going daily and recommend to any professionals who want to work out and don’t want to be surrounded by the usual gym junkies.

Beautiful atmosphere. Friendly staff and lots of activities. Pricey but worth it if you can afford it.

I visited this club on a road trip from Maryland. I was amazed at the quality of the facility and the staff (they were super kind). The steam room was the best that I have ever experienced. My whole family had a blast (15 year old boy and 74 year old woman).

The staff is always friendly and helpful however I'm very disappointed with how often their Lifetime Cafe App is down for food ordering. I live in the building and attempt to order food almost daily. It has been down for the last month and it's never up for more than a week without it going down again. It doesn't tell you it's down until you already selected the items and are ready to place the order. Extremely frustrating. For the love of god.fix the app and I'll fix this review!

The gym and spa are nice. But sometimes the stuff’s attitude is misleading and ignorant. I went to gym on Sunday 8: 30pm and realized the door on 11th was closed. So I went down to the first floor and asked. The reception told me it is closed at 7: 00pm. So I went home. Later I checked on the web and saw that actually it is open still 10. So I went down again to ask why, the guy said oh the reception is closed. So I asked why it says it open till 10. He told me because no one updates the information? Then I asked him could I go to the gym from the first floor. Then he finally told me yes you can after so many questions. He could have told me that in the first place instead of me going home and doing research on my own to figure out how to go to the gym when the reception is closed.

TBH, I haven't been, I was a NYHRC member before they shut it down to develop this space on 23rd. Curious about all the 5 star rave reviews from 9 - 10 months ago when the venue wasn't open yet. Let the buyer beware.

I've been a member since Lifetime opened a few years ago - I am there 5-6 days a week. I watched it go through a rocky first couple of years as far as management, but it was always a beautiful club. Imagine an Equinox but nicer, bigger, and less crowded - with better amenities eg, the two outdoor pools and big outdoor space, the beautiful hammam downstairs, the spa (which rivals high end spas around the city), and the cafe which has great food and is well designed with great workspaces too. The class instructors have always been top notch, too. I can't speak highly enough about the classes and the instructors.

Over the last year, new upper + middle management were brought in. Now the service finally matches the infrastructure. I'm really impressed with the new team that has resolved many of the issues I am reading in the notes / comments from earlier years (I can relate, some of those issues used to bug me too). Those problems are gone now - 100%. It's actually remarkable how new management+staff turned things around.

Like the person below my comment stated - "The facilities are amazing, but the employees are really what make this place special. The team is tight knit and here to make your experience a fantastic one. " I think that's a great summary - I am so impressed with the employees and instructors, across the board.and it's clear they are tight knit because they're all happy working together, which rubs off on the members and makes us happy to show up there.

My membership now feels like way more than just a workout routine. It's an important part of my day where I go for wellness, relaxation, remote work, meals/snacks, to lay out in the sun and swim, and to have fun. I feel close with all of the employees and enjoy interacting with them. The class instructors motivate, challenge, and inspire me. I really enjoy the whole experience and appreciate it.

No complaints about this Gym. Well if you guys can provide all the amenities then why not "After Shave"? Just a suggestion if that matters to you.

If your a diamond member you can only use this place once “grace day” as they put it and a guest has to pay 40 dollers for the day. Just throwing out info that they dont tell you and spare u the waste of time. He let one white dude in without even checking him and said its fine cuz he knows him, but i guess there are rules for some and rules for others.

I won’t say this gym deserves diamond level but I guess the location is making get there. Over all the spa is very unique

If you are a wanna be ”fitness” this is the gym for you, if you really want to train and get the best of you, go to another gym.
Is not a gym is a social club, cuz don’t have enough machines, but the spa, sauna and lookers are good, if you really want training or are you looking lose weight forget it,
the outdoor pool pays 40 dollars separately every time you want to use it does not even include them with the Expensive monthly payment, I do not see the benefit of this membership.
I have visited different lifetime in diamond category and they are very equipped gym and only pay 149 per month, but this in Manhattan has more areas for relaxation and a minimum area to train and pay 200 are things that I can not understand.

This place makes you feel like you can touch the Sky! The fitness floor is state of the art, classes are INCREDIBLE, the spa is lovely, the workspace is top notch, and don’t even get me started on the skydeck. The facilities are amazing, but the employees are really what make this place special. The team is tight knit and here to make your experience a fantastic one. I may be biased because I am a yoga teacher here, but I can honestly say that I love the people who I work with along with the members and completely support the company.

I love lifetime but rescue guys, or whoever watch for pool have to tell people to stop blow their nose in the pool‍️‍️‍️

Came as a guest Sat am and LOVED this place. Beautiful space! Took an incredible spin class first thing to wake my body up then lifted some weights in the weight room. Finished the morning off in the café and ordered the almond butter smoothie - yum! If I lived closer to the location I would totally join.

The place is nice, but the machines are constantly broken. I've only been here for 2 months. The cafe sucks. They can't even make a proper omelette. I got a large egg wrapped in veggies, they need better service in there. I give this place 3 more months before I find another gym. Not worth the 200 a month.

Needs to be better maintained!
Printer wasn't working and everyone complained about it, so how did they fixed the issue? They just removed printer! Looks like a better solution. Its like a going to the car dealership to fix your car and they tell you that they just got rid of your vehicle because they can't fix or solve the issue otherwise.
I was holding up for an year to give a review and am finally doing it. So far, this facility doesn't deserve anything more then 2 stars.
Staff needs to enforce more regulations to members for walking topless!
Members need more attention!
Entire floor needs attention!

Facility is a little dirty for being so high end. Bathrooms need attention and so does the cafe area.

Beware joining them I’ve been trying 6 months to stop deductiobs from my credit card they never allow you to cancel they rip you off don’t even answer your emails or chats
