After suffering from severe pain down my right leg for months, I finally was diagnosed as having sciatica due to a bulging disc in my lower back. My first form of treatment recommended was PT.
Having been highly recommended to Alex at Lifestyle, my treatment began. Within two weeks my pain greatly subsided, due to the personalized treatment I received.
Returning to my orthopedic, two weeks after my treatment began, I was supposed to receive a cortisone injection. I can happily say…. Injection was not needed.
Hands down, Doc Alex is tops in his field. Also need to give a huge shoutout to Mo!

Following the birth of my baby, I sought out support to regain pelvic floor strength and work through pain at my epidural site. After some research, I reached out to Lifestyle PT and was set up with Dr Monisha. She diagnosed my areas of weak strength and set up a treatment plan that would help me reach my goal of safely running again postpartum. She truly partners with her patients, listening to my feedback on progress and setbacks, adjusting her approach every step of the way.

Back in 2021, I was training for the Philadelphia Marathon and developed knee pain (probably due to overuse and poor recovery practices) that was limiting my ability to train and I thought potentially my ability to race. I went to see Alex at Lifestyle. By strengthening and stretching supporting muscles and the use of taping techniques, he helped me continue training and post a 3: 31 marathon time. This year, while training for the Ironman 70.3 at Jones beach I developed a calf strain. I didn’t hesitate to get back to Alex at Lifestyle PT. He tuned me up and now I’m ready to go for race day tomorrow. If you’re an athlete with a nagging injury, go see Alex, he’ll get you back in top form, I highly recommend.

After waking up and going on my normally scheduled run, I was beyond annoyed when I felt my lower back start to pinch. In my mind I knew I had no time for Physical Therapy with a 10 month old and a full time job. After 4 weeks with Monisha, I was back at it. Monisha was beyond gracious - she was beyond accomodating with not only my schedule but allowing me to even bring my 10 month old with me to appointments! I am so grateful:)

Alex and Monisha are as wonderful people as they are PT’s. They are kind, caring and professional. I have been in for back issues and they have helped to to get back to my everyday activities. If you have any issues requiring a PT this is the place to go. I highly recommend them

I started with Lifestyle in NYC and continued my treatment at their Huntington location after I moved to LI.
When I entered care; I was experiencing severe pelvic floor discomfort and back issues post-surgery. I was unable to move or exercise without pain and was very down in general.
The PTs I worked with at Lifestyle got to know me and tailored my exercise plans to fit my post-surgery needs and schedule.
I am now back exercising and feel in control of my body again? ! Feels strange to type that out relative to where I started my journey with lifestyle. I couldn’t have made a better decision for my PTs.
