Lil Chef Mama (Thai Sliders & Co.) reviews
17My FAVORITE Thai place in NYC! I live in UES and have tried every Thai place near me, only to be disappointed that it is not as good as Lil Chef Mama. Their Tom Kha soup is to die for. I would eat it everyday if I could (if it was closer to me). Their service is also really great and the interior is clean and beautiful.
This place was a pleasant little surprise. It is hidden in a busy area but once you enter the serene environment, you kind of forget the outside world.
The service was great! The wait staff were vey attentive to us and helpful with the menu as this was our first time here.
The food was INCREDIBLE! The best part was definitely how flavorful everything was for us. Noodles were cooked and very tender. The red chili pepper was not overpowering in the dishes and surprisingly, the food was not very heavy even though there was a lot. We definitely will be going back!
The lunch vegetable red curry was really good. A bit on the spicy side but still edible. The Thai ice tea was also very good.
Lil chef mama is the best Thai in the neighborhood. Everyone who works there is so friendly and the service is amazing. Such a great place!
The restaurant doesn’t look very impressive from outside but it’s roomy and comfortable inside. We had the pork and shrimp fritter as our appetizer. It was really good.
The pad Thai and pineapple fried rice were delicious.
Passed by this near work so many times since it looks nondescript from outside. But i took a friend there for lunch and was most impressed. Once you walk in the place looks lovely and the food was delicious! Going back!
My new regular Thai spot. Most authentic Thai flavors I’ve had in New York. I have tried popular places like Uncle Boon, Thai Diner etc. This is by far my favourite Thai Restaurant in NY. Stand out dishes like the Thai Sliders brings me back to trips to Asia. The decor is beautiful and fun! The staff are above and beyond friendly. Love the ambience, love the food. Cannot recommend this place enough.
The decor and ambiance was absolutely fabulous! They have an open kitchen where you can watch each dish being prepared with love and to order. Place is super clean and staff very friendly.
I will highly recommended the chicken Pad Thai.it is literally “to die for”. My fiancé tried the steak, it is a Thai style spin on traditional steak which was unique and delicious!
The restaurant is very family friendly but it is also a great date spot. We will be back!
Amazing authentic Thai restaurant with great atmosphere and super friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back!
The restaurant is super spacious and the food is delicious! I ordered the pad see ew and it tasted just like a home cooked meal! Everyone is super friendly. I’ll always come back here for a good Thai meal!
Lil Chef Mama has superb Thai food! Steps from the South Street Seaport, this lovely new jewel offers excellent food and beautiful atmosphere. It is like dining in the Thai country home of a friend who is also a great chef. Toon and her friendly staff go out of their way to welcome you!
One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while! The food is incredible and the atmosphere is elegant and chill. Very authentic and fresh. Best Thai Iced Tea I've ever had! Really not a dish you can go wrong with—everything is a winner!
Lil Chef Mama is amazing! I had the Pad Kee Mao and it was the best Thai food I’ve had in NYC. The chive cakes are fried to perfection. Super friendly service!
Lil chef mama is back full swing ahead! It’s amazing! Great food and Great service. PREM our waiter was spectacular! Please come and enjoy this great place. Ask for PREM!
Like eating airport supermarket food. Cheap portions. Cheap ingredients, like using american broccoli instead of gailan. Bland Noodles stuck together. Not fresh meat. Undercooked seafood. Slowest, astonishingly incompetent service.
The best authentic Thai food in the Financial District. Great service and affordable meals that you can't miss in this Lower Manhattan! Each dish made from mama Toon chef who enjoy creating delicious food with love. It will be one of your favorite spots on your list!
