Lilli and Loo reviews
17Best gluten free dumplings in the WORLD. I absolutely love Lilli & Loo and go as often as I can!
Lilli and Loo is a fantastic Chinese restaurant with some of the best gluten free food I’ve ever had. My gluten-loving friends come and eat the GF Chinese with me and honestly can’t tell the difference. I would highly recommend.
They also have a regular, non-GF menu, which from what I understand is quite delicious as well.
Omg this is the best gluten free Chinese restaurant I've tried anywhere in the USA. The texture and taste of crispy general TSOs chicken was unreal and the sauce was amazing. I will go here for lunch and dinner every time I go to Manhattan. I wish they would open a location in Brooklyn and or long island.
Gluten free options are the best. It’s so hard to find Chinese food that’s gluten free but this place has everything! I order in from here at least a couple times a month.
Delicious food and excellent service each time I’ve been. Amazing gluten free selection. The crispy shrimp and fried dumplings are some of my favorites.
The hot sake was delicious and the serving portion was enough for 2. The happy hour specials are great.
I called in advance to check table availability. When we arrived our table was ready and we were immediately seated.
Our waiter came over to take the order for drink and appetizers. He was very friendly and patient.
We ordered the boneless ribs and the house dumplings. Both good.
He came back to take entree order. My husband ordered the Mongolian Beef, came with white rice and the House Specia Fried Rice.
Taste was decent. Was excited to see gluten free options that were not limited.
So 3.5 but they dont let you give 1/2 stars.
It’s expensive but it’s worth it! The food it’s so delicious it’s so bomb like omg I would definitely come back and totally recommend it’s so clean and so cute
The food was very disappointing. I ordered Singapore noodles and they were over salted and tasteless. The GF pork dumplings were gummy with way too much dough. They do have a lot of GF options, but all the options do not taste good especially at this price point.
We came here last second and we’re so glad we did! The food is phenomenal. Best general Tso’s I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly as well.
Pretty tasty place for a modest price. We did enjoy the sake and our entrees, also this place is great if you have allergies because it has an all gluten-free menu that you can choose off of. I had the gluten-free spicy Szechuan beef. It was delicious although I think it could have had a little more heat. The sake was really good as well. Definitely give this place a try
They offer an awesome variety of delicious food. I love dining here. The employees are always kind, prices are affordable and the place is always well organised.
I have been dying to try this place and have been for over a year now.they have been closed during the entire Covid situation and did not even offer take out.which was quite upsetting.the other day to my surprise i finally see that they stated they they were open for take out only as of March 1st.talk about being excited! We tried all day on March 6th to placed an order with no answer.it did say online that they were open but for take out only.no one was answering the phone and I could not place an order online either. I was extremely disappointed to say the least! We even past by the place and it looked like it was under construction. Just wanted to let anyone trying to order that they are not open for take out or dine in.hopefully they will open soon bc I am still dying to try there gluten free food and change this 3 star to a 5 star!
I prefer this restaurant very much.there is a very special atmosphere. The food is wonderful.the service is dynamic and the personel is polite. The price is reasonable.very much recommend.
Amazing extensive gluten free menu and delicious food. Rare to find GF Asian food that you are happy eating. Portions are huge and great value. Homely restaurant, definite must for visitors and locals.
Finally a decent Chinese restaurant! NYC has tons of places yet I couldn't seem to find one I liked. Places I grew up with on Long Island were SO GOOD and I could not find a place in the city to match that quality I was used to.
But Lilli and Loo did it. Have ordered from here a couple of times and am always very satisfied.
Why 4 stars instead of 5? Because I've still had Chinese food that's been better than this. But no qualms with this place. Definitely give it a go.
Prices are reasonable.
