Bakery L'imprimerie reviews
14 Cute place with many options however I was not impressed with their Ham and Cheese croissant the croissants weren’t buttery and crispy! Hot chocolate was watery and only filled half way there’s other baked goods as well will try and review on another time. Very friendly service and other options of cakes and pastries so I’ll def come back again because of the nice atmosphere and proximity to my home and their extremely friendly service!
Unfortunately had better croissants elsewhere such as Bien Cuit, Nick & Sons bakery, Meyers Bageri, and Bake. I tried them all and if you like flaky buttery crispy croissants those are the best ones in Brooklyn.
Whilst service was good - the ham & cheese croissant was very dissatisfying- considering the price of the croissant there was no cheese and in the whole thing barely a bite of ham. As a croissant buttery deliciousness but a ham & cheese croissant it was not.
Very inconsistent service (slicing bread, being served kindly and quickly)
Not the first time that I am frustrated with service and today they closed early without announcing it online so drove there to see the staff Christmas party from outside.the Bread is very good. Pastries also although a bit to dark baked for my taste.
But I'am coming less and less due to the service that I expect on top of the awesome quality given the prices.
Update 11/6! Berry pastry is perfectly balanced with a decent amount of pastry cream. Thank you for taking my feedback!
Full disclosure: I work here. But the food is really delicious. I particularly like the vegan almond croissant and the hot chocolate. Also, the back patio is nice.
We came in quickly with our dog to grab a coffee and pastry to-go. After waiting in a long line a worker from the back (maybe a bakers?) came over and told us “no dogs allowed”. Not a single worker in the front said anything while we were waiting in line. No sign on the door indicating no pets allowed either…
I feel like if you’re a cafe in bushwick you should be at least semi dog friendly. Know your audience…
Also ordered two medium lattes that came in 8oz cups! So either they gave us a small sizes or they’re EXTREMELY over priced. I’ve never seen an 8oz medium before especially for $6+.
On a positive note their pastries are delicious but there’s plenty of friendlier and appropriately priced places in bushwick. Wouldn’t recommend this one
Love the croissants and the bread, dislike the vibe. The service seems a little aloof everytime I go which doesn't seem to justify the 20% tip. Also am I missing something or are there no prices listed in an obvious place for the baked goods? Really dislike when businesses aren't upfront about the money I'm spending.
Yes yes yes! Great selection of pastries and sandwiches. The back patio is perfect for relaxing away from the city bustle on a nice day.
Delicious bread and pastries. The owner was sweet and I loved how everything was displayed. I think I found my new favorite bakery.
One of the best croissants I've ever had in my life. It was freshly baked in house that morning and had a tiny, almost unnoticeable amount of sweetened egg wash on top. Croissant was small and was lightly doughy on the inside and had a crisp outside.
Quiche was pretty good too.
They have a lot of vegan options of you're into that but the regular pastries are made with real butter baby
Drop coffee is really bad though.
Paid 24$ for a sandwich and pastry and got a full bite of hair inside.if i notice hair in my food i usually automatically assume its my own, but this strand was incorporated INSIDE of my pastry as you can see it hanging off of this piece.kinda sad because i actually came here a lot.
Very unfriendly atmosphere. Walked in to order and greeted the cashier. She didn’t even speak. I looked around and then mentioned that I was looking for something sweet and she stared at me like I was a dummy. I decided I wouldn’t spend my hard earned money there. I agree with the other reviews about the vibe/atmosphere being off. Felt like I wasn’t wanted there.
Awesome bakery with a very hip vibe! The place attracts younger folks in their 30s and 40s who love to have a French bakery in the gentrified Bushwick neighborhood. Their ham and cheese croissants are to die for as are their almond croissants. The freshly baked bread is delicious and the parmesan cheese bread is decadent. The millionaires bar is luxurious and a must have to relieve stress, lol!
