Lincoln Terrace / Arthur S. Somers Park reviews
19Nice large park. Has 2 large playground for kids. Tennis courts and baseball field. On some days it's just nice to walk around and see The greenery of the trees and the grass.getting away a little bit from The hectic City Life and being in nature is relaxing. Please keep the park clean. Enjoy.
I went to the big open grassy empty area with a group of 10 kids ranging from ages 2-4 years old. They had so much fun just running around in the open field.
Today I went back to the park with kids ranging in ages 3 & 4 year olds. We went to the playground. The kids had so much fun. They redid the playground and there's a lot of things to do at this beautiful spacious playground.
This is a great big Park with so many different things for children to do, my children are begging me to go back.
Beautiful George M. Olmstead-designed park on the edge of Crown Heights and Weeksville. Brand new playground, splash pad picnic areas for kids and adults and a nice green. Tennis and handball courts, a baseball field, actual working bathrooms. Lots to like.
Dog friendly and clean but needs more police presence to get rid of the drunks by the benches
We use this park recently for my niece's 7th birthday. It was very clean and well maintained. I just wish they had more garbage cans available. The children didn't seem to notice this at all. They enjoy running around and being kids!
This was a great park to work out in or take your children/child to but there have been some robberies/ beatings in there that many people stop going in there.
The park is scary to go into by yourself without looking around and watching who walking/hanging out in there!
Quite possibly the best playground in all of New York City. And it’s not on any of the best playground lists. The only thing is people need to put their trash in the trash cans. There needs to be some kind of campaign encouraging people not to litter because this is an unusual amount of litter here. I encourage others to throw away the trash that they see, as I often do, to make the park safer for young children.
The Park had one light on the basket ball court not good at all because it was hard to see on the floor. Also they need more nets on the rims.
Just off to the end of Eeastern Parkway in Brooklyn, there is a great community park created for multipurpose activities.
Even though I know the park, I had never been there before. But last week during Fashion Week on September, 14th. I went to a fashion show by Designer Bweela Steptoe and discovered this beautiful gem in the neighborhood.
The park has lots of green spaces and paved areas. I consider this the ideal model of a public park. There are areas for skateboarding and rollerblading. Alongside are tennis and racquetball and basketball courts. And on the southern end, there are fields for soccer, baseball and football. Plus trails for walking and running and complimented by wide tree lined promenades with benches.
This park is amazing. We came for a festival and decided to go to the playgroud after. Were traveling all the way from Harlem by train and i promise it was worth every moment. This was one of the best park ive been to in nyc. Its huge, super clean, and extremely interactive. Everything is the perfect size for them.
Best on Week days and between business hours for picnics. The grass area is small but its great for outdoor games with close friends or family. (From time to time others may ask to join in).
Very nice recreational area with multiple tennis courts a baseball field basketball courts just wows you and apparently theres skating rink i guess to substitute losing empire skate rink which was a positive place for the children to be
This park is a place where u can come and a wonderful time at the sprinklers with your children or have an event such as a birthday party or an anniversary party
Great playground for kids. My kid didn't want to leave. There were so many areas for him to play and it was clean. I'll definitely take him back when I'm in the neighborhood.
We went on a hot summer day and the sprinklers were on and the park was clean. Not crowded at all. It's a large park full of trees and brekky newly renovated kids section.
Kids had a great time, BUT too much drug use and loud music in the park. Didn't see a single policeman in the whole park.
Blackveg fest was the greatest. Entertainment, delicious healthy vegan food, variety of free gifts & purchases. 6 portable places with soap, running water, paper towels. Lots of fun etc, etc.
I call this the mini Central Park of Crown Heights! The landscape is amazing with so many huge full trees and the hills are excellent for fitness! My favorite spot in Crown Heights!
