Definitely my favorite deli in Long Beach, the service is friendly and the food is well priced and delicious. 95/100 A+

My name is Alex Sylvia and it was a beautiful day in long beach until disaster struck. If there was an option I would have given zero stars. I found a bug in my turkey sandwich. My friend Caitlin Buchala found a worm and maggots in her sandwich crawling on the lettuce. Nail clippings were found in Camden Hetrick’s potato salad. They did not use gloves to make Jane Hoeflinger’s sandwiches and my friends and I were told to stop talking when speaking amongst ourselves. This use to be my favorite place and now I can’t even turn down the street and go to Long Beach anymore.

A museum and store in one to say the least! Super kind to me and I have seen to others! Near the beach so grabbing anything on the way wherever.seriously makes everything better

Older female employee went above and beyond.preaching to me about wearing a mask. I told her that Blakeman said Nassau county does not have a mask mandate.they are proven to be useless.she carried on getting ruder by the second. I bought my lunch.but you just lost a customer. I will never go back.and the 7 or more people I told the story to.all said they won't go there anymore.real radical left attitude there.good luck!

Very slow service but very delicious muffin. The old school scramble eggs ham and cheese were ok

This is one of the best places to pick up a sandwich in Long Beach. The bacon, egg and cheese is my personal favorite. The place is a fixture - having been there for decades. The staff is always friendly, the service is always prompt and the pricing is just fine given the quality you are getting. Parking is generally not a problem. Give them a try.

Been going there for years. So I order my weekly usual. Two hours later on a road trip I realized they put mustard in it by mistake. I’m allergic and can’t eat it. I go in next week for my usual and tell the owner. He barely acknowledged me and walked away as I was telling him. (There was 1 other person in the deli). I told the girl making my sandwich. They both ignored. Offered nothing. No Free sandwich, not even a discount. I asked him and he ignored me. Held out his hand for my money. I mean you’re going to lose a weekly customer of years for 7 dollars? And if you’re not exacting in your Customer service, where else is the business lacking? If you don’t care about your customers what kind of business person are you? Plenty of delis in the area.

Tina makes some real good Home cooked meals at the beginning of the week. Hardy meals. I love her meatloaf, Shepard's Pie, Chicken pot pies, Lasagna. They have good salads and wraps as well so when your hungry on the way home from work stock up on a few meals that's what I do. Not many people know. Heck I've been living here since 1994 and always passed it living in the west end. Now I stop for the last year.
