Lindsey Equipment, Apalachin NY

Brought my mower into thier shop coming out of last winter. Got charged 900 after it being there for months. Charges for "sharpening the blade" and also charged for replacing my blade on the mower. Charged for power washing the machine and it still had grass on it. Simple fixes explained to me by the guy in the shop were supposedly done, but took my mower to the local guy and he showed me dry rotted items that were supposed to be replaced by this company. Skip this scam and go to your local guy. I really believe they didn't do anything to my mower and just charged me.

Absolutely horrible customer service. After waiting three weeks for a routine service they returned to me a tractor that was completely inoperable, then refused to make it right. They have one service tech now and he shouldn’t be licensed to service nail clippers. Many of the items listed on the invoice were never performed at all! Stay away from this service hell. I’ve owned John Deere’s for forty years but this company has changed my future buying habits for good. They get one star only because there are no negative ratings.

The company is always responds quickly when I have called. I would especially like to thank Shawn, the pickup person, for today spotting the quick fix to our wheels not turning. He saved us time and a potentially a great deal of money.

Lindsey Lawn has great staff. They are helpful and informative. Their parts inventory is pretty expansive. They had everything in stock.

The guys are funny, they get their jobs done and then some. The guy that delivers the tractors is cute.

Very happy with the service I received from them. They had a great discount with the pickup and delivery and Shawn was pleasant, capable and an all around good guy. While pushing snow, the red oil pressure light on my garden tractor came on. After a call to Lindsey Equipment, they came right over, picked up my tractor and had it fixed and back in a week. Just in time for the next snow. When they dropped off my tractor, they picked up my snow blower which developed problems. It's now fixed, returned and ready for the next storm. Shawn McClain was the driver who picked up and delivered both machines. Very helpful and very friendly. A pleasure to do business with Lindsey Equipment. They are there when you need them with expert service and helpful, friendly employees.

I don't understand places that claim to take pride in their commitment to their customers yet ignore you at length when you go in and try to spend money there. My 80 year old father went in to buy a brand new tractor/backhoe but he stood there for so long unaddressed in any way that he left and bought it elsewhere. I myself have felt ignored there a time or two over the years. Today, my spouse went in with the sole intent of walking out with a high quality tool, but he was also unaddressed as he waited too long for his liking. For Pete's sake, say hello, or welcome, or be right with you, or thanks for coming in, say SOMETHING to make the customer not feel invisible so you might retain their interest in giving you their money!
