Little Scholars Early Development Center, Bronx NY

This place is incredible. First of all, just take a tour of it. The facility alone is something you'd be paying $4000 a month for in downtown Manhattan, and honestly, this place is probably bigger than those more expensive daycares. It was built only a few years ago. It has a private outdoor area near the classrooms, a much larger private outdoor playground downstairs, a large indoor gym downstairs, and a very clean and new wood and glass design. Also, they are very affordable and on par in price with other daycares in the area.

The teachers and staff are wonderful. Ms. Diana for the 2-year old class is a great teacher, the kind that is very rare to find. She sends weekly updates with pictures and videos of the kids and includes what activities they performed for the week and what they learned. My daughter loves going to her class.

They offer afterschool programs, so when our daughter turns 3, she can potentially stay here till 5PM. Almost every other 3K school we looked at closes at 2PM with no afterschool programs available.

I noticed that the school was review bombed a few months ago. It looks like one person got her friends to all give the place 1-star because maybe the school called child services on her? I don't know the full story, but if you're getting child services called on you, maybe you should think about what you're doing to your child, and not what the school is doing to your child.

Little Scholars is 15 blocks from my apartment and there are plenty of daycares closer to where we live, but I'm still happy to take my daughter here because of the reasons I said above. Now other parents in our area are taking their kids to this school as well. It's clear once you visit that this place is the best daycare/school in the area.

Amazing school! My daughter absolutely loves her teachers. Let me not get started on her taking about all the friends she made. I couldn’t ask for a better school.

I absolutely enjoy working here at the school. I love working with the children and the parents, very safe environment and clean. The people here are super welcoming, very respectful and open minded. We come together as one big family which I enjoy very much. Thank you for having me be a teacher here.

I have two little boys and they started in October and ever since they've been independent, I noticed a lot of growth development. I love the staff and how respectful and loving everyone is. My kids love coming to school and seeing their friends and teacher, at home he loves naming everyone. I am very grateful for everyone at Little Scholars, I thank the staff and director for accepting my kids and for always being patient with our crazy schedule. I 100% recommend Little Scholars, I feel at peace knowing my kids are in great hands.

It begins at the door. The love my daughter receives from Ms. Sheila in the mornings is amazing. She calms her down when she is having one of those I don’t want to leave my mommy moments. The staff is great. Audrey the director always gets back to me whenever I have a question or concern. The teachers rock! I would definitely recommend Little Scholars

This place is truly amazing! Very clean and safe environment to have your vulnerable little one, and let me add, the hours of operation work so well with work schedules!

I do not recommend this daycare will have your kid (s) in the system taking away from your homes enter at your own risk. Any daycare with 2 stars will tell you otherwise!

I was hesitant to bring my child here since this place has no reviews, but I'm so glad i did! We got a tour of the place in summer of 2022 and immediately loved the facility. Very clean and the people were so kind. We signed up and put our child in when she was a month away from 2 years old. She's been there ever since and completely loves her teachers! The kids are served breakfast, lunch, and snacks. We get weekly updates of the activities the kids do and welcome parents to drop in anytime. My daughter has learned so much! They also have 3k and Pre-K and aftercare. Ms Audrey is running a wonderful place. Already recommended others to go. Thank you all for the peace of mind!
