Tex-Mex Restaurant Lobo reviews
14A tex-mex place with emphasis on the tex.very little flavour, poorly put together plates, just very bland. Margarita tasted good and was big, but I opted for the lychee version and couldn’t taste the lychee at all. Nice service staff though! Wouldn’t recommend overall
I went in excited by the reviews and menu and left really disappointed by the whole experience. Chimichangas were bland and served with a salad that takes away from the dish. No chips rice or beans without paying extra. All overpriced for what is essentially mismatched cafeteria food. 2 stars for the margarita if you just want drinks.
If you’re looking at the reviews/photos and second guessing the food, listen to your gut - the food was bland and waaay overpriced for what you get. Not to mention it took 15 minutes for the food to cool down and become edible - scorched my mouth inside with no warning. I wanted to like it but I was very disappointed. I could spend less and have a better meal somewhere else.
Ehh.food was bland and overpriced. It’s catered towards the gentrified crowd. CASH and VENMO only? I guess you could come here for drinks.
They were very helpful, gave me recommendations and prepared something to personalized to me. I didn’t have bloody Mary’s but saw a lot of people ordering one and my friend told me they’re pretty good. I’d come back to try more dishes.
Wow. Really impressed. Went for a walk at lunch and stumbled on this place. The food was GREAT!
Great infused margaritas and bean/queso dip. Chicken in the mole enchiladas was a little dry and the portobello chimichangas were just alright. Would prefer they be served with rice and beans rather than a bland salad. Would return for the queso and margaritas.
Nice ambiance and great service. Unfortunately the food is just bland. I would go back for drinks but not for food.
One of my favorite restaurants in all of BK. Friendly staff, incredible food, and phenomenal margs. Backyard is a super bonus in the summer too!
Great place for Mexican food and margaritas (small and large sizes). They have tables upstairs.
Cash only, but there is ATM inside.
Solid tex mex with a great margarita. Service is fast and very friendly. Menu has shrunk since the pandemic started but still fantastic.
Finally, a great Mexican food place in Brooklyn! This place is great and their enchiladas are top notch.
I am very dissatisfied and not returning. The food was just OK, the waiter were wonderful but what bothered me was the bill. At most restaurants hot sauce and other sauces are left out, here when I asked for some sources I was billed, when I asked for 2 different types of chicken on my order i was billed and when I questioned them I was ignored. I am not happy with my experience and will not be returning.
Very good food friendly staff, very inviting I love going there, see myself as a regular customer.
