Lochmor Golf Course, Loch Sheldrake NY

My wife and I played there today. The course was well manicured and fun to play. The rolling hills, the mountain scenery and the lake coupled with perfect weather and temps made for a great experience. The staff was excellent. There are a few blind holes where it would be easy to drive up on someone in the fairway from the tees if one is not careful - typical of many mountain courses. A neighboring course, Wall Kill, has gongs which can be struck by the players in front when they are moving clear of the fairway.

The course was nice and well maintained, however the staff were rather rude to us. There were a couple staff members playing behind us and started driving before we even had a chance to get on the green. Over all not a great experience.

The Lochmor Course is a super nice course for those looking for a challenge. It was a fun challenging time however my experience was ruined due the attitudes of some of the staff members. They were quite rude and seemed to not care about the golfers using the facilities. If your looking for an inviting and warm experience where your patronage is valued, look elsewhere.

I was disappointed with my experience at lockmore, the course was very nice, the employees were very rude with how they treated us.

The course was especially nice with lots of long challenging par 4s. The greens were very well kept and overall played well. However the staff there was quit rude and I’m not impressed how I was treated. I am very disappointed because this course has potential to be a gem if only it had better staff. Overall I would recommend finding a different course to play at so you can enjoy your round without worrying about the rude staff.

The golf course was a nice course to play. The employees there weren't the nicest and honestly got on my nerves.

Love the Loch! Beautiful views and a challenging course but very enjoyable to play. Well run by everyone in the pro shop.

Extremely disappointed with the individual at the pro shop and the golf course policy
We were informed that although it was a Monday July 3rd we charged the holiday July 4th rate and no senior discount Our decision to play on July 3 was in an effort to avoid the July 4th crowd and rate which was $12.00 more
On a positive note the cart person brought the golf cart to our car which was very helpful
I am in the golf course industry and we always honor the senior rate

Here is a very nice Municipal golf course. Great value and you get to use all the clubs in your bag. Nice burger and beer restaurant too. Enjoy!

Great course for future not duffers like me. Love the cart to car service.
Just challenging enough to want to do better yet not so hard you're tossing your clubs in the lake.
