I needed my lock changed and I found this place on Instagram. Elan responded almost immediately when I reached out for a quote. He was at my house within 2 hours to check my lock and let me know what my options were, I had no idea he was going to get it done right there on the spot! Within 20 minutes, I had a brand new high security lock for a great price. Elan was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be using them going forward and I will recommend them to anyone who is in need of a locksmith.

Excellent service! Arthur was timely, organized and professional. I was locked out my apartment late at night and was looking for the nearest locksmith to arrive and that's when I've seen Locksmith excellence NYC, I liked the reviews I read and decided to call, they answered right away and sent Arthur to assist me, Arthur quickly analyzed that the mechanism failed seeing as I had the key. He promptly explained the procedure to me and advised that the lock will need to be replaced after the door is open. The whole process from start to finish was less then an hour and a very reasonable price. I have a metal door with just a Schlage keypad for entry but needed a matching Schlage outside handle, inside lever/knob and deadbolt added.

I communicated with Elan from Locksmith Excellence what I wanted and he was responsive by requesting I send photos of my door and the type of lock I had in mind.
The next day Elan installed all items for me in less than an hour and even swept up once the job was done. He was professional and friendly and I would definitely use his services when necessary.

The team are not perfect in work, they have lack of propar training. They were not able to fix my mail box.

After calling 8 different locksmiths to try to get into my apartment at 4 am after my keys got stuck in the lock, Locksmith Excellence were the only ones that gave me a time estimate. Alex my technician was extremely punctual and called me to confirm they were on the way. When Alex got here he quickly got us into our apartment and then replaced the lock in record time. The service they provided me was worth the cost, especially considering it was very early in the morning! Will definitely be calling them first next time I get locked out of my apartment. (which hopefully isn’t for a long, long time)

Everything you want and expect from a professional. Elan arrived within 1/2 hr of my call and repaired the locks on 2 of my doors. He was very detailed in his repairs and also explained to me what he was doing. The price for the repairs was very fair thus I highly recommend Locksmith Excellence!
