Lombardi's, New York NY

Lombardi’s - America’s first pizzeria - is situated on the corner of Spring St.in Little Italy. The coal fired pizza is solid. The ravioli were fine. Skip the salad, it’s nothing special and drenched in dressing.

The table service was fine, but the front of house service wasn’t great. The outdoor seating in individual glass structures with heaters was a great touch.

There’s definitely better pizza in New York. This one has the name and the fame, but the pizza wasn’t worth it. Quite expensive for a pizza actually, around $30 for a personal pizza.

A truly disappointing experience. First of all we were told we could not sit inside (in 5C / 41F weather), so we had to sit outside in the shed with the door open on flimsy garden tables, even though I could see empty tables inside. Then as we were handed the grubby menus we soon realised the menu online was not the same as the menu in house. We ordered 2 drinks, breadsticks (starter/appetizer) side salad and pizza. Our salad came out first, followed 20 minutes later by our pizza and then when we finished out pizza, 5 minutes later our breadsticks arrived (which we sent back as the meal was finished) While we were still eating the pizza the bus boy came round to clear our tables mid mouthfuls (Giving me the feeling we were being rushed out) Also whilst eating we had a homeless man come up to our table begging for food. All in all I would avoid this place at all costs the pizza may be a 3/5 but the experience as a whole was dreadful.

They take only cash. The staff has the typical rudeness that you associate with New Yorkers. The pizzas are authentic New York style. Definitely recommend it.

Nice place and busy with indoor and out patrons. Service was great from start to finish. We had the margarita pie with 2 beers. About $42 overall. The sauce was great, the Crust was a little thicker than thin Crust and the edges of the pie was crunchy. Very good overall. Nice place to bring a friend or a date.

Visiting from out of state. This restaurant was listed on the top 10 pizza restaurants in ny from foodnetwork. For the oldest pizzeria it was a total let down. We ordered delivery, the pizza came cold, and it had been tossed ontop of itself. This pizza taste no better than cheap mall food. No silverware with the salad and the sangria was awful.

They do not serve pizza by the slice. The food is delicious but pricey for the service provided. It is not cheap too! A medium pizza for two is $20+

My sone flew in from Indianapolis and I flew in from Detroit just to have lunch. We had the clam pizza and it was delicious AF!

First pizzeria in USA and really good pizza the taste is different from the other pizzerias that's what makes Lombardi's #1

This was such a crushing disappointment to bring my kids here after so many good memories in the past. The pizza didn’t come out with the other food; the rest of the food was cold by the time our pizza finally arrived. Apparently the first pizza was burned and they had to make us a new one; didn’t offer any accommodation at all. Salad was wilted and uninspired.

I will never ever come back here. Bummer because I have such fond memories of this place.

Can you say yum? Great food. This was a must have during our stay. A friend recommended this dining experience to us and we were not disappointed.

I sat their with my friend waiting for 45 mins for a small pizza while another group, who came in after us sat and their order was taken and the were served; and the ate and left, still our food never came and no waiter had an answer. So disappointed and embarrassed cause I was so excited to take them there and that was the result.
