Long Beach Municipal Fishing Pier reviews
6I grew up hanging out at this pier and now my children are growing up fishing at this pier. It's a magical place where perfect strangers who have never seen each other before suddenly become friends simply because they are both engaged in the act of fishing even if nobody catches anything. There has never been competition from my experience, everybody is friendly. The Magnolia pier has a beautiful melting Pot of people from all walks of life enjoying the views of the surrounding areas and on clear days, glimpses of New York City
Good fishing with kind people. You can also rent rods and buy bait if you don't already have. Gets pretty crowded though.
Beautiful location, saw people catching fish. Very nice area, the people are so friendly and parking is right next to the pier, not to mention a bait shop right there. Definitely a must for fishing, you can even walk your dogs
Magnolia Pier. Must see in Long Beach. Beautiful sunset views April to August.
If you want to end up in a fight or have a knife pulled on you go fishing at night. And some of these people work for the bait shop! INSANITY
An L shaped pier with a small bait shop and access to restrooms. Has a lot of parking space. Fun to go when it's night time and there aren't many people around. It can be a quiet and peaceful experience.
