My sister and I have only wonderful and kind words for Long Beach nursing home. The staff was always attentive and caring. Allison the social worker went way above helping my mom adjust but she was there for us too all the time. Megan the nursing supervisor was so sweet always keeping us informed and was extremely caring. All of you made us feel like family and that me sister will be forever grateful.

The Long Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is by far the best you can find. My father spent the last three weeks of his life here and I could not have asked for a better care setting for him. The staff was supportive and friendly from the start. Alison, one of the social workers, made us feel welcome and supported our family throughout his stay. My dad stayed on the second floor. I can't say enough about the care he received. His head nurses Liz and Jen were so attentive, caring and compassionate as were the staff nurses and aides. I was kept updated on his condition when I could not be there. My dad was kept immaculately clean and his room was clean. He was encouraged to eat and the staff recorded how much he ate everyday. The rehab was great and the food was very good. The atmosphere at the center is truly loving. My dad was treated with the respect and dignity he so deserved at 93 years of age, for that I am forever thankful.

I just went to visit someone a few weeks ago. The place is well organized and clean. As soon as you register you need to complete some forms and take a COVID 19 test. The day I went they were decorating the Christmas Tree, staff and patients they were having a great time.

Extremely caring staff. The
CNA ‘s are always there for us with a lovely attitude. The PT professionals are wonderful with my wife and are relentless with their sessions regarding her well being. Antonio and Joseph, along with the other Nurses, gives us great comfort. In short, I, and my immediate family are extremely pleased
with this Rehabilitation facility!

My 100 year old Aunt spent the remaining month of her life at Long Beach Nursing & Rehab. From the first time we visited, there was a nice feeling about the place and the people who worked there. It's bright, clean, and there are water views. From front desk people to aides to nurses to social worker - this is a good group of people. You can tell that they're committed to what they do, and we were so comforted to know that she was in good hands. Amazing peace of mind. Working in places like that is really hard work and the aides/CNAs we had the pleasure of interacting with - Rosetta, Elma, Alex, Tamica (hope that spelling is correct. I apologize if I've left anyone we dealt with out) - were wonderful. Nurses Ashley and Heidi - on top of it and totally involved in her situation when she needed anything. Dr Chen was a very soothing presence and Social worker, Alison, is exactly the kind of person that should be in that job. She's kind, caring, and always accessible  - even on her day off. Can't ask for better. Everyone was extremely professional and caring. Anyone considering this place for themselves or a loved one can feel at ease knowing that they will be well taken care of.

This rehab is probable one of the best. The setting is very good and clean. The managers at the rehab are extremely attentive to any concerns that may arise. They are never too busy to listen and to act on family request. The nurses and the support staff are friendly and helpful. The entire staff at this rehab center works very hard to meet the needs of the patients and are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

I had a horrible experience in this facility. There were a few nice employees but many had bad attitudes and one used unacceptable racial slurs (anti white comments.) the food was inedible, the showers gross (I had 3 showers in a month) the transport company is unprofessional and not trained. I suggest you avoid this place if possible.

This little diamond is enchanting and charming Directors Mr. K, Alison, and their crew introduce themselves and stay on hands making you feel very special. No task too small or big and it was not bait and switch after signing in: Every promise was fulfilled. Staff was the sweetest, senior participation, clean, and Cory Bowen's food was clean and aimed to please. Not fancy food but better than penicullian and helped bring my health back more than any medicine. If I win the lottery, I'm giving a raise to everyone and making this my private home LoL. Did I mention the surrounding beauty and the amazing doctors: in particular, Dr. Li Chen, M. D.

My dad was there twice, unfortunately. The last time he sadly was placed on hospice and passed away there. The entire team was awesome, attentive, and caring. We were with him for 7 days/nights and we were grateful for the staff. Everyone was so kind. Barry imparticular was quite incredible helping us with prayers and was there when he passed and made it very easy for us.

My mom has been here 3 weeks after having home care for the past seven years.
Everyone has been terrific helping us adjust with the transition. Mom is being well taken care of. It was a very tough decision but ultimately I am happy with her placement here.

My father is currently at Long Beach after experiencing a hemorrhagic stroke. The care he is receiving there is beyond excellent. The entire staff there from the front desk to the nurses are so attentive, caring and sweet. My dad has been in and out of rehabs for the past 6 years for different reasons and this rehab is by far the best.
Even though the entire staff is really wonderful, there are two people that really have went above and beyond. Before my dad was even transferred from the hospital, Nicole from Admissions reached out to me. I was an emotional basket case due to the condition of my father. She was so empathetic, that after hanging up with her I felt at ease. I felt less confused and anxious for the first time since my dad had the stroke. She took her time and answered any questions I had. The other individual that went above and beyond was Allison, the social worker at Long Beach. Alison went over the care plan that my dad was going to receive and took the time to fully explain everything. Not like a robot or a person doing their job but like a friend. She even took the time to ask questions so she can get to know my father as a person. And not just another person that was sent here for palliative care. Allison and Nicole assured me that I was welcome to call at any time for any reason. Not once did I ever feel rushed off the phone or felt like my father was a just another patient.
This is the first rehab where I really feel like my dad is in great hands. One day as I was waiting for the elevator to leave I saw a nurse speak so sweetly to a patient that was trying to pick something off the floor. She could’ve just moved her away or told her to stop but the nurse spoke to her with such affection, using a sweet tone that one would use to talk to their grandmother. It was so nice to see.
I actually just got back from visiting my dad. When I first got there he wasn’t in his room. The nurse at the station said someone might’ve rolled him to the backyard for fresh air. Just as I was going downstairs to find him, I saw Allison the social worker rolling my dad out of the elevator. It wasn’t a nurse that took my dad outside it was Allison the social worker. She was just getting back from spending time with him outside. Since he’s bedridden she took him outside in a reclinable wheelchair and sat outside with him. They sat outside and watched the water and jet skis. She told me she wanted to take him outside for fresh air to hopefully lift his spirits. I’m sure she had a ton of other things she could’ve been doing but she took the time to bring him outside. So sweet.
The level of care, compassion, cleanliness and friendliness is truly like no other I have experienced. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
