Long Island Paneling, Ceilings & Floors, Lindenhurst NY

What a joke of a place! I went to the Commack location first and brought a dropped ceiling tile that I needed more of. The guys helped me out, said they knew the tile, it was about $2 and change per tile and sold in packs of 12, but didn't have it in stock, so they called Lindenhurst and they were going to hold a pack for me. I get to Lindenhurst and there's a bunch of guys sitting around doing nothing, one helps me, again I had the tile in my hands with me. They ring me up and tell me it is going to be $150, I told them, I was told by Commack that it was like $50-$60 bucks, they said I was wrong. I called my contractor friend to see if that price sounded right. He told me no and that this place doesn't carry the ceiling tile I was looking for. I told the workers that they weren't even giving me the right tile and they were all sitting there and started laughing at me like I was the one who was wrong. YOU WORK FOR A CEILING TILE COMPANY, YOU HAVE THE EXACT ITEM IN FRONT OF YOU AND YOU STILL MESS UP! This company had me driving across Long Island for the wrong item. Absolutely pathetic. They obviously don't know what they are doing.but keep sitting around bs-ing about your families while you are on the clock. Maybe a long training is needed.

Per the response given.it was not my fault, you were given a product and asked to match it. Your employees handled the piece of tile, looked in the computer, told me that the other location had it in stock and how much it cost. Your employees don't even know the difference in material and product and thankfully I called my contractor to verify the price and he was able to tell me that the product is not carried in your stores. So how is it that a contractor knows what you carry and your own employees don't? It is funny when a store tries to push the blame on the customer, "we are sorry on our end for the misunderstanding that a similar product would suffice”. First off I was not looking for something similar, I was looking for the product I brought in, and that was made clear to your employees…. Who in fact stated that the same product was in the other location. Again…. Training is necessary.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The inventory is immense. The selection is priced to carry out the same day. I've been to the New Hyde Park location and the Lindenhurst location and am very pleased with both. What I forgot at one store, the other store had. Thank goodness.

Made a second trip out to the Lindenhurst location to find LVF for the basement. They have so many to choose from but the staff was very helpful and patient. Brian was amazing and helped us on the floor when we were looking for specific colors and sizing.sample sizes are much larger than competition. Definitely recommend

After having a horrible experience with another flooring store, we were led here and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The store was organized and easy to look through different choices. Management was also super friendly, professional and knew what they were talking about. Almost anything you need they have in stock. Overall, a quick, easy and friendly experience! Prices were also better than other places we checked out.

After picking out panelling, and being told it's in stock and paying, when I went to pull my truck around the warehouse employee told me all of the panels were damaged. The man at the front who was very nice, suggested driving 30 minutes to another location to pick them up. I have been here many times in the past and never had a problem but if you are going to tell me something is in stock don't change the story after I pay. Keep better track of the inventory status so customers can make informed choices.

Very nice people, really big selection. If you are in the market for flooring or paneling you should definitely check them out.

Still love the selection this place
have, just a little disappointed they no longer 'peel and stick's tiles as they did in the past. I would still highly recommend LI Paneling for and floor renovations!

They are helpful when it comes to carrying items to the car. Their communication skills with the installer are not so good, had to schlep the item back to the store in the rain. They should get it right the first time and don't try to convince the customer the item is right when they question it. Take a minute to double check things.
