I first contacted Jackie in 2019 when she agreed to help me probate my aunt's will. I was immediately impressed with her caring, efficiency and willingness to listen to me.

Everything went very smoothly and we swiftly got out most of the required documentation. If there were corrections to be made she immediately addressed them.

Unfortunately the Suffolk County Surrogates Court was giving me a hard time and insisting that I get legal representation. So I did and at that point Jackie could no longer work with me once I signed on with them.

Well, we are now nearing the end of 2020 and the lawyers and still working on it. They blame Covid 19 and I blame them for letting the final documents sit on their desks and not bothering to find out whether the Court was accepting documents and mail during the shutdown. They were but I could not get my lawyers to do anything. They just kept repeating that the Court was closed and waited for the Legal Fairy to tap them on the shoulders to let them know they should get back to work.

I can't emphasize enough the difference between working with Jackie and working with a lawyer. She listens to your input and is very sympathetic. There's open communication and I felt that she actually cared about my situation. I depended on her and she came through with flying colors. If I could turn back the clock I would have found a way not to get a lawyer.

I would definitely choose Long Island Paralegal Services whenever possible and go to a lawyer only when absolutely necessary.

The paralegals that do all the work get the least amount of credit.
