Unbelievable facility. Everyone here cares so deeply. From initial intake you can tell that you are at a place that cares and will do everything in there power to help. I couldn’t be more grateful for the lessons I’ve learned and how rapidly my life is changing because of them. In my opinion there a few places that exist in this world that have the positive impact that LITC is having, and it really is special.

I’ve had the best experience at litc, everyone is extremely welcoming and committed in helping you succeed, it’s an overall amazing environment.

LITC has truly changed my life. I felt like part of a family the moment I walked through the doors. I was struggling with addiction and mental health when I came across LITC. The staff is extremely professional and truly cares about everyone's individual well-being. There is no judgement from anyone which really allowed me to open up and get to the root causes of my issues. I have learned so much about myself and techniques to deal with all issues life throws my way. I highly recommend this program to anyone who needs help.

Long Island Treatment Center really is a great facility. I had the pleasure of meeting some really nice people while I was there for a month and PHP. My Therapist Jamie, is really a beautiful soul. Whenever I needed help with something or whenever something negative was on my mind she was always there for me. Joel, he is the true miracle worker and talk about charisma, this man is at the top of the list. He not only helps you, but he’ll go above and beyond to make things right. They have been a couple times when I was upset and he was the only person that could get through to me and calm me down. Kyle also is such a nice guy, caring person. I met him while in IOP at the facility. Also, the facilitators, Annie, Frank, Sam, , Dorene, and I may have missed a couple, but they always had great classes that helped me a lot. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a better way to live. This facility is definitely top notch

LITC is a great facility. The staff are professionals that care about the success of the individuals that attend. They know what they are doing and what they're talking about. They're also easy to approach and talk to.

I was at a difficult time when I looked into LITC, I was going through a lot and I was very confused. I did not know what to expect, but I am very happy I chose them.the people around me are also very happy that I chose LITC, they notice a positive difference. They're always saying, how much better I look and sound, since I began going to LITC.

The facility is kept clean, from its group meeting rooms, it's cafe, its bathrooms, to its waiting room / lobby. The 'little things' are not over looked.

Thanks LITC. Keep up the good work, the difference you guys making is huge.

Long island treatment center is a god send. The facility is extremely inviting with such a warm atmosphere. There is always delicious food, coffee and candy available. That is minor compared to the professional, understanding, caring, kind, funny and absolutely loving staff. I truly look forward to joining the amazing group and individual sessions. The clients have also been so helpful to my recovery. Its like a big family. I highly recommend coming here if you need help and are struggling with addiction. Rehab, and then coming to long Island treatment center, truly saved my life!

This was by far the best treatment center experience I have ever had in my life. The staff is amazing and most importantly, sincerely cares about the clients. I would recommend this program to anyone who is seeking help. I have had bad experiences with treatment in the past but this program has totally changed my outlook on the process. I learned a lot about myself while I was there as well as all the coping techniques and resources I need to stay clean. I cannot say enough good things about LITC and their staff.

I have been struggling with addiction for the last 10 years. In and out of treatment facilities. Nothing seemed to stick.

The day I found Long Island Treatment center it was a God send. The friendly and understanding staff made me feel that I wasn't alone.
There knowledgeable staff made me feel that everything will be okay. It felt very personal and I wasn't just another number

Currently I'm in a IOP I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Long Island treatment Center literally changed my life, and they way I view life. When I first entered the program I was broken mentally, physically, and spiritually. And I wasent even sure if I even wanted to be clean and sober. But as time went by I learned so much about recovery and myself! The staff that work here are amazing. Extremely professional but at the same time extremely cool. I was paired with the perfect therapist, physiatrist, and case worker for me, and they gave it there all to help me succeed in and outside of the program. Before coming to LITC I didn’t even want to live life anymore, and now I am so great full for what God has given me and I am more than ready to crush it in recovery and in my social life, without having to touch any mood or mind altering substances and alcohol. If you are struggling with drug and alcohol addiction and you feel like your life is out of control I highly recommend going to LITC, It was the best decision I’ve made since I stopped wearing skinny jeans hahahahah:)

This treatment center truly changed my life. Words cannot express how grateful I am for the support and direction the team here has guided me through. Ross, Arnold, Joel, Vinny and the rest of the team are just flat out amazing. They are very understanding, supportive and truly help you navigate through your journey to sobriety. The sessions are always very well organized and always a major stress reliever. I leave each session with new tools and a positive attitude every single time and am always looking forward to the next. Along with the group sessions, you are assigned a therapist with whom you meet with one-on-one atleast once a week. I’ve made a bunch of friends here who I can count on when I need to make a call. The coffee is superb! Top Notch breakfast is served during every morning session and top notch dinner is server during every evening session. If you have a loved one struggling with addiction I highly recommend contacting Joel and his team here at Long Island Treatment Center.

My experience with the Long Island Treatment Center has been very positive and everyone there is compassionate, experienced and professional. I would recommend LITC to anyone looking to continue in their recovery. Very happy with my time there. Thanks to Joel, Vinny and Loretta, who are fantastic as well as Arnold and Ross, who run the groups.

I've always been a social drinker but my alcohol consumption took a sharp turn in the wrong direction about five years ago. I knew the problem was getting progressively worse, but was sure I could "cut back" - if not abstain from drinking altogether on my own, no problem. False. I downgraded myself to "only drinking on weekends" to "no liquor, only beer. " and so on. That didn't work so I joined social media groups, half-heartedly attended AA meetings, tried e-therapy, read self-help books and when all else failed would just white-knuckle it through the day. Suffice it to say, I was still drinking extensively and then Covid/lockdown/quarantine was the perfect storm for anyone struggling with substance abuse. By October 2021, after countless drinking binges, blackouts and occasional trips to the ER for minor injuries/panic attacks/detox, I finally admitted to myself and family that I was NOT WELL and needed professional help.
I was not very familiar with the concept of an “outpatient program” but knew I needed something more intense than a weekly tele-health meeting with a complete stranger. I was fortunate enough to find Long Island Treatment Center, made a phone call and was immediately welcomed to the family. The incredibly experienced staff is so very personable and greets you with open arms, relieving any anxiety you may have about admitting you need help.
In my opinion, the key to the success of this program is the three-pronged approach of group therapy, one-on-one therapy and an easily-accessible staff physician on site. Instead of just discussing obvious ways to STAY sober, you do a deep dive into WHY you use/abuse your substance of choice in the first place, which is so important. My therapist, group facilitators and doctor collectively strategized to determine the best plan of action suited to MY specific needs in regards to MY recovery. LITC has given me the tools and confidence to find my way back to normalcy, sanity and an overall healthy lifestyle. The incredible support system among the patients and the thoughtful/honest conversations that take place in group sessions are so invaluable. To know you’re sitting in a room with other people that have the same fears and anxieties is weirdly calming. I developed such a special relationship with everyone at the facility and they’re available 24/7 whether it’s for a quick chat, a text or just to say hi.
I’m so grateful to have found Long Island Treatment Center and was able to make leaps and bounds in a few short months. It’s a no-judgment zone and every facilitator has personal experience with recovery, which was a huge selling point for me. When I finally realized I wasn’t alone and was able to witness first-hand that happiness is possible with a little work, I embraced the journey and gained a whole crew of new buddies along the way.
