The fish and chips dough was uncooked on the inside, the fish batter was also soggy and the fries too.

I had the eggplant chips. I got sick, it was like food poison. They were over fried the batter was not properly cooked on one side. Awful.the atmosphere and restaurant smells like mold and rancid oil.it needs to be totally redone.

We were there at sunset and got some beautiful pictures over the water. The atmosphere was great and the service was fantastic!

Inconsistent menu, consistently bland food.
The service was great, very nice atmosphere, although it smells like fish and cleaning products.
Octopus: dry, tiny slivers of fishy meat, bleh we sent it back.
Tuna with wontons: were okay, nothing to write home about.
French onion soup needed salt & pepper and seasonings.
Salmon burger was decent.
Fries, decent.
Arugula goat cheese salad with very dry chicken was mediocre.
Fish & Chips, fish was extremely bland but the tartar sauce was great.
A shame that such a beautiful place doesn’t have an equally as beautiful and tasteful menu.
Hoping they change the menu AGAIN but for the better, but I don’t count on it and probably will not be returning.
They used to have an amazing Bloody Mary cart, but they don’t even have that.

Do yourself a favor, SKIP.

Octopus was slivered so thin and had a rubbery texture. Fish and chips had no flavor whatsoever even tho it was fried to perfection. Cole slaw was good. French onion soup was okay.
The service was great

I would only come back for a drink

I’ve been going here for years with my family. The seafood is really fresh, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. This time we went we had a 5 star waiter! Darwin was top notch in his serving etiquette and really catered to my kids and parents. We all had a great time.
We ordered calamari, lobster bisque, French onion soup, Branzino, shrimp salad and lobster rolls. Everyone was happy with their power lunch and the portions were dinner size!

Overpriced for mediocre food and service. Food completely over-cooked. Awful service, our server (Jesus) never checked in on us and we would have waited there all night if we didn’t seek out the waiter ourselves. Which we would be a little more understanding if it was a busy night. What a shame considering the beautiful views. I’m sure servers there would get better tips considering how high the check is, if they didn’t overlook their customers and actually did the job they are there for.

I recommend Louie's Prime Steak & Seafood Restaurant to host your next party. We had a terrific experience. They were very accommodating of my guests' dietary needs. They offered us many food selections to choose from. The atmosphere was wonderful. The food was delicious. The staff took care of all our guests. The location was splendid and close by the Long Island Railroad for those guests coming from New York City. The party was a success. Thank you!

The view is super nice on the patio and would have been even better if it wasn't raining. We had the patio to ourselves and it was cold so I do wish they had some sort of heating set up but it's possible that we just needed to ask about it which we didn't.

Our server, Darwin, really made the lunch good! He is so kind and funny and always willing to help us out whether it's by answering our questions or helping us fix a wobbly table. He's very amicable and funny and made us feel welcomed and like family! WE picked several of his recommendations and liked them. Darwin saved this review because I'd give his service 5 stars!

The food is more at 3 stars. I feel like you're definitely paying for the view. The octopus salad appetizer is good. The octopus is soft and not chewy. The seafood Tower for two is a little ridiculous. It's not a tower and you're paying $40 for very little and did not feel worth it. It's literally one oyster, one clam, one shrimp, and half a lobster per person. The seared scallops were sweet and tasted like the ocean. This could just be me being picky but I wish there was more lobster in the ravioli. It felt more like I was eating dough. The corned beef sandwich was decent but nothing special. The porterhouse is large and a little on the rarer side but that's just because of how there are two different cuts on the porterhouse, so not holding that against them. Aside from the creamed spinach, the mashed and Brussels sprouts were really bland and didn't taste like they added any seasoning. Desserts were good. The chocolate mousse wasn't heavy nor overly sweet. The molten lava cake was also good and not overly rich or sweet. The cheesecake is good.

On and off relationship with this place. It’s not consistent sometimes they are awesome and sometimes they are off key. The food is okay and not spectacular.

We have been coming to Louie’s for many years for the view. Food was ok
Since the Rothman group took it over we were hoping for a better dining experience. We were there tonight and view was great and waitress was sweet and accommodating. We got the table we were requesting but a bit of a miscommunication to get it. I ordered a 1 1/2 lb Lobster for $48. It looked tiny compared to the 1 1/4 lobster I’ve had elsewhere. It was also overcooked and dry. I double checked with our waitress and she confirmed it was 1 1/2 lbs.when the mgr came over to see how things were I shared all this. He was apologetic but no offer of desert or a drink. We ordered berries and cream for $12.50. It came in a small parfait glass with a smidge of whipped cream.
Very disappointing dinner. I hope they will do better

Stopped in with a bunch of friends. We had the seafood tower, baked clams, calamari and bunch of sandwiches. Everything was great, including the service. Nice location right on the water. Has a great bar too.
