Louis Armstrong Stadium reviews
11Great court to watch tennis. Not overwhelmingly big like Ashe, good sight lines, and their modern design for cooking really works, it's always more comfortable than Ashe in the same weather because it's built to induce a breeze plus has fans
I loved it great, the place was dirty just because it was the final of the US Open but afterward everything was good.
This stadium is little smaller in size compare to Arthur Ashe Stadium but the visibility is great here as well
Incredibly clean, very friendly staff, and more intimate than Arther Ashe. It’s hard to have a bad seat here. Took the 7 towards Flushing and walked 7ish minutes so it’s pretty easy to get to. Pleasant experience!
11a.m start. Awesome tennis. Clean & safe environment. Helping secure the venue for my countrymen & woman. United we stand. Divided we fall. Kid friendly environment. Pet friendly environment. Wheelchair friendly environment.
I actually prefer this stadium over Arthur ashes, maybe it's due to seatings are closer to the court compared to the main arena. Also the roof was closed in this scorching hot weather. I may have to consider getting tickets for this stadium over the main one. Usually both of them have top players anyways especially the first week of US open.
World class stadium that is surprisingly intimate. The Pat LaFrieda concession always delivers.
This is my favorite tennis court, perfect atmosphere not too big no too small. If u are able to go try to get as close as possible to the courts.
An absolutely terrible place, with a terrible park, incomprehensible metal and already rusty "sculptures". The feeling that there was nowhere to put metal decades ago and had to build something. It turned out to be such a "nothing". But that's half the trouble. We bought tickets to the US OPEN 2023, dressed beautifully with my wife, heels, suits, everything, and what a surprise it was that you had to walk a mile on a leaky wooden bridge! The wife did nothing but look at her feet! And this is during the day! And at night after tennis? Such a lot of money, such rich sponsors and you really can't make a normal road to the courts? Just a disgrace!
First and foremost shame on CUNY School of Professional Studies for telling me that me and my special needs kids would have to walk a 18 mins to the graduation while I seen y’all pick and choose who to give parking to closer to the graduation. And to the young lady rosemary who was picking and choosing with the parking. I am coming for your job!
Very nice stadium for an intimate game of tennis. Went here during the 2022 US Open which was an amazing experience.
During the US Open, Louis Armstrong Stadium reserves the bottom part of the stands for paid ticket guests. The upper sections are general admission first come, first serve sit where you like style. We got to see the eventual Woman’s winner (Iga Swiatek) play her second round here.
Stadium is clean and honestly there’s not a bad view. Just be careful with the sun depending on the time of the match.
