I had a wonderful experience at Loulette! I felt very taken care of, supported, and celebrated! This was my first bridal store and it is where I found my dream dress:)

My entire experience with Loulette and the team was fantastic. Jillian made every visit light and fun. As someone who does not love shopping in general I felt totally comfortable and at home trying on dresses here. The choices were different enough that I had plenty of styles to choose without having an overwhelming amount to pick from. I love getting to see where the dress was actually made and they even made a cute bow tie for my dog to wear! The dress was so comfortable all night, even for dancing on the beach. Thank you Loulette team!

THEY MADE EVERYTHING SO AMAZING! I went in with a very specific idea for a custom dress and i am so so happy with how it came out.them being the most lovely people to work with, having a dog and the cutest baby on the planet are just bonuses.i also went with loulette because of where they donate - super vocal about what they believe in and i appreciate that so much.can’t recommend enough.

First off, thank you Jillian for being so patient, amazing, and really just doing what you do, because you're doing it well. I love that this place exist and what they stand for. 3 women holding down this business and making a safe and open space, is wonderful. This is a very down to earth place that has amazing, GORGEOUS dresses that Marteal designs. Looking forward to completing my dress with you 3, so exciting!

UPDATE: I LOVE my wedding dress. It came out so beautiful thank you again Jillian and Marteal. When I did my first look with my husband, the first thing he said through tears was "I love the dress". He then told me he was scared he wasn't going to like it lol but he loved it and so did I! I highly recommend buying your dress from this talented team. They truly care about you and their dresses.

Highly Recommend. I had a few bridal appointments in the city and Loulette was by far the best! Their pricing (while a little out of my personal budget) is very fair for the quality and personalization you receive when getting a Loulette dress. There selection is absolutely gorgeous and their customer service is above and beyond what I anticipated.

I am a proud Loulette bride! I went into dress shopping having no idea what I wanted and the Loulette team - Marteal, Sanaa, and Jillian - helped me find/ create the most perfect dress.

It was important to me personally to find a dress from Brooklyn, but not only is Loulette BK based, the independent boutique also focuses on responsible, sustainable and inclusive fashion. S not only did I get the dress of my dreams, but I loved being able to support Marteal and the team’s approach to bridal fashion.

The actual experience of going to the studio and working with Jillian to find the dress was truly one of the highlights of the wedding journey! The first trip she helped put me in the large variety of dresses Loulette has to offer and we began to narrow down the look I gravitated towards (A-line). The second trip, I went back thinking I was going to get “Nala, ” but I wasn’t sold on the neckline for me. I really liked the neckline of “Jordan. ” This is when Sanaa comes around and goes - that’s fine! We can create a dress with the neckline of “Jordan” and the skirt of “Nala. ” Voila! My dress was created! Marteal kindly drew up a sketch so I could see what it would look like together.

In short - they created a dress that was literally made for me. Not only did I positively love the silhouette, the phenomenal bustle of the skirt and let’s not forget the pockets (!). More than that, the linen organza fabric was simply STUNNING and COMFORTABLE. The dress is truly a work of art. But it was perfect for me as a bride that did not want to be overly “bridal. "

Every single one of the guests commented on how unique and stunning the dress was and many of my friends have said they want to get married all over again simply to buy their dress from Loulette.

You can’t go wrong with supporting this amazing designer and team. The product is worth every reasonable penny and the experience makes it truly a journey to remember!

I don't mean to play favorites, but hanging out (because it truly felt like hanging out with friends!) at Loulette was far and away one of the best parts of the wedding planning process. My wife and I both found our dresses with them - and I'm so genuinely grateful we ended up here for our first try-on session, because after an appointment at one of many other bridal studios we booked around the city with a much less personal vibe, we canceled the rest and went right back to where we started. Grateful for their kindness, their myriad customizable options, and their overall fun, inclusive way of existing in the bridal space. I will recommend Marteal, Jillian, and the entire team at Loulette again and again!

I cannot imagine having found a dress without Loulette! The whole team was amazing to work with and makes you feel so cared for throughout the whole process. My wife and I actually looked forward to going in for fittings because the vibe at the studio was so immaculate. Would recommend Loulette x1000 to anyone looking for the right wedding day fit, especially if the Traditional Bridal Norm isn't for you. They're the best!

I knew exactly what I wanted, and as soon as I found Loulette, I knew that Marteal would be the one to make it. And she delivered — she understood my vision immediately, and worked with me to make it a reality. She helped me make sure my jumpsuit was formal and stunning enough. At the end, I added a veil, and Marteal encouraged me to just leave the length and cut it after the ceremony (it was REALLY long). This created basically one of my favorite parts of the wedding — I kept shortening the veil as the night went on. Just a total blast.

I had SUCH an incredible experience at Loultette - from the smiles when you walk in, to the cozy interiors, offer of coffee or bubbly, and trying on gorgeous dresses that are so perfect for

The staff is tiny and mighty, welcoming and full of great ideas for what looks good on your body, without sales pressure and while encouraging you to try on things that might be outside the box.

I will definitely be going back for a second round and before I conclude my review, we have to shout out their incredible giving-back model, from tree planting to supporting a different cause each year. I love that theyre making a difference in an otherwise wasteful industry.

Such a special experience! If you’re looking to support a small business that supports others then look no further! Not only were the dresses beautiful but there was such a welcoming and calming energy. Jillian was so sweet, comforting and supportive it felt like I brought another best friend with me! I also had the opportunity to try on my mom’s (who passed away a few years ago) dress for my grandma and while emotional it became such a special memory I’ll hold forever. So yeah- go here you will instantly understand what I am gushing about… the whole team! I mean the art that Marteal creates and then you get to wear it! It’s an amazing experience from start to finish!

I can't overstate how great my experience with Loulette has been. Their team is incredibly kind, and finding and fitting my wedding dress at Loulette was a supportive and encouraging experience from beginning to end. My dress is a variation of the Campbell Gown, and the try-on and tailoring visits to their studio made it easy for me to feel confident in my own skin and beyond comfortable in my dress. I cannot say enough good things about Loulette! I ended up buying two outfits from here - a jumpsuit for my civil wedding and a dress for the actual wedding - and absolutely LOVE both of them.

Jillian, Sanaa, and the whole team are so great and made the entire process fun, easy, and comfortable. Unlike some of the other shops I visited in early days, I never felt the sales-pitch vibes at Loulette; instead the focus was always about finding the right gown for me, whether at Loulette or not. Sadly I never met Marteal in person, but her creations are incredible.

On top of all that, it was amazing to find a shop that’s so well-aligned with my personal values: sustainability and inclusivity-focused, women-owned, and gives back to important causes. What more could a bride want? !

We had the BEST time shopping for a dress for my bestie. It felt so special to have the showroom to ourselves, we were treated with bubbles and had such an incredible experience we won't forget!

Best wedding dress experience I had. Not only did I feel good buying a dress from a responsible, local company but also love the style and one-on-one attention I received. Lovely experience from start to finish. Can’t wait to wear my dress and only sad I don’t have another reason to keep shopping here.

They Saved My Day: A Perfect Fit Just in Time!
I ordered my wedding dress made to order, and the fit was awful when it arrived. With only 2 weeks left to my wedding, I was very frustrated and hopeless. They could have easily said, "Well, this is the best we can do" without actually seeing me, just basing it on 3 measurements, but they took on full responsibility.invited me to the atelier, and made the dress perfect lightning fast! They were very friendly and professional, and I would definitely recommend them. They truly saved my day!

I did not come into this expecting to make or want a custom wedding gown, but Loulette made the process so lovely. I brought a bunch of pictures of dresses I liked from elsewhere and Marteal rolled them into the most perfect creation! Go see the wonderful ladies in Greenpoint!
